I get that threads get derailed, sometimes too much but the problem is the two subjects are so intertwined that it can be difficult to have an intelligent conversation without crossover.

I actually have 0 picks in the first round but looking at FA contracts it seems too obvious that it's going to be a WR unless AP knows about a lock #1 he can grab in round 3.

AP's free agency run has been incredible in of covering bases so we aren't forced to draft anyone at 7 (almost)
I do think he will at least look at all FA WR's, C's and DB's as they come available along those already free

If we signed both, hypothetically, we’d be completely open to BPA in draft. I think we’re pretty close to that now, though, with a lean to Love and Tate.

That would be an incredibly more talented receiving group than last year. Then add in Chig and White...very impressive.

If we did that then id want to do the one unthinkable thing and actually move up in the draft to insure we get Love.

I'm not a big believer in Plan C. I mean they signed hi first, then went after oh lets call him Lindy . They don't believe in him as the starter

I mentioned Glasgow previously from Detroit. He's 33 but could be penciled in as starter on a 1 year deal.

I've been looking at centers and I just don't see a viable plan B guy out there yet. Cushenberry failed his physical with the Titans, word is that was because his Achilles injury never healed like they hoped, contributing to his 2025 performance as one of the few worst centers in the league per PFF grades.

I don't see anybody else available that seems like more than a backup to plan C Allegretti. I suppose something could happen with salary cap cuts across the league, but having a hard time seeing even who that might be. Strange situation.
