The 2026 Free Agency Thread

SF wouldn't try to keep Ayuik from us. They are the team we have the best relationship with in the league. We are always making deals with each other and looking out for each other
I just hope that Keim is right and the team isn't waiting for the Aiyuk transaction to complete the WR room for 2026.

Zac Ertz did as much or more in 13 games. Somebody explain why we are happy about this?

I get we plugged a hole in the roster with a young guy who is reasonably productive, but these aren’t great numbers by any stretch.
Well, #1 that tweet is over 2 years old. And just watch the guy play. He’s damn good, but has been playing with trash QB’s in TN.

Work sucks. Missed a lot of good stuff. Cross is a big get. My #2 safety in FA. The speed on this defense is going to be ridiculous. All of the guys we signed are all over the field. Sideline to sideling. Maybe I am being a homer but I am really pumped at what this defense is going to look like this year. It will attacking and violent.

Worth noting it was one of only two touchdowns on the season?

Seems like a good fit, but I’m trying to be realistic about expectations.

It’s fair to protect yourself that way, but counter point so you can feel good about it, TD’s historically are not sticky from player to player—they follow targets and QB quality.

So what he’s done matters, but it doesn’t mean he can’t score TD’s. Andre Johnson famously had a near-HOF career but with embarrassing TD numbers due to QB quality.

The TD’s will follow with the usage and Jayden imo. He has a real chance to outplay his contract in a big way

I didn't think we were going to bring back the geezers. The front office had to show the owner it could move forward into the future, the best way to do that is clean the slate and start over.
