Chig for 10m aav is great. It would tie him for 14th highest AAV, but I would bet he will NOT be 14th in TE yards. He's got real top 10, even top 5 potential with Jayden throwing to him.

I always said he is part of the solution.. not the only solution. Who you're describing is a DIVA wr... so if we're out on Aiuk.. then i guess we would be no go for AJ Brow, TO, Randy moss, Michael Irvin, OBJ, Steve Smith.... etc. Some drama is worth it.. especially with our WR room.

No that's not what was described. There's a difference between a Diva WR and a Headcase WR. Aiyuk in 2024/2025 was rumored (again according to 49ers fans) flirting with Antonio Brown on the Raiders level of stuff.

To be on the safe side let's sign Jennings and then look for a veteran leader like Keenan Allen to round out the receiving corps up to the draft and perhaps we can then add a prime down the field threat for the future.

Safety has not been properly managed on this team since Sean Taylor was drafted in 2004. It's been that long.
