We threw some draft picks aways with the Deebo and Lattimore trades. No reason to compound that mistake by trading out of the position where we can draft a difference maker just to recoup picks.

Depends. If a team is at #8 or #9 and tells us the player they are going to take in the deal and that allows us to get the player we are really after then I would do the deal.

It would require Peters to be VERY close to the vest about who we like and let on that we are going to take the player the other team wants.

Daniel Jeramiah just did a hypothetical where Minny trades up to 7 from 18 for Love. He said they wouldnt have to give up their 27 first either. No way I am taking that in this draft. 18 to 7 is going to cost you two firsts AT LEAST.

Those trades only happen when someone even further back is threatening to jump the team right behind you. So you have to credibly seem like you’d trade back even further, and these teams all talk to each other. Difficult to pull off in practice
