The 2026 Free Agency Thread

I’m not a PFF guy but… 110 of 114 isn’t good.

Oh well, TUNSIL!

Peters reaching for players.

Again, his PFF score of 48.6 ranked 110th at the CB position, 30 slots LOWER than Trey Amos.

Detroit's secondary has not exactly been one of its strongest position groups in recent seasons.

Tunsil.

I don’t understand why more people weren’t worried and I don’t understand why people aren’t amped as hell for this. This is huge.

We need more - Tunsil was with us last season. But we made positive on the trade and that is a pretty good move.

Im happy about it but the timing is a little curious.

It feels like they announced this right as free agent frenzy started to blunt the criticism of a possible lackluster free agency.

I hope im wrong.

This move seems more like a secondary type signing that comes a few days after the start of free agency.

I heard the sizzle but evidently Peters doesn't have any steaks on the grill.

I am not losing any sleep over what PFF has to say. I will try to find some film to watch in him. The CB market is pretty shitty this FA period though. Just a rotational guy in the end.

So, while all the big names are signing elsewhere, we are diving to the bottom of the dumpster for one of the worst corners in the league and giving him a two-year deal?? Greaaaaaaaat

Slot corner, at least judging by PFF scores, was good, but off year last season. It feels very 2025 type signing. It's fine if another signing at CB is coming but if that's it, meh.

We are going to carry over a bunch of cap again. Aren’t we??

If he is a slot corner, does that give hope that Sainristil is going to be staying at outside CB like he did in 2024?
