Turns 24 In October. Already played with Jayden. Had almost 1300 yards as a rookie. Still had 700 yards on 14.7ypc yesterday. Has size. Can stretch the field. I’d love to have him. I don’t think we have enough to trade. I’d give up our 3rd this year and something next, but that’s not going to be enough.

They set up a workout with him but he signed with the Chargers first. Then they traded a 5th for their replacement Center. So who knows who they preferred, if they’d had their choice

We will see about that with a lot of talk of the Giants going hard after Walker and this just posted:

ESPN’s Tim McManus believes the “expectation” is the Eagles will make a push to re-sign EDGE Jaelan Phillips.

Phillips came over in a midseason trade from Miami and had a great half-year in Philadelphia, posting a 77.1 PFF defensive grade in nine games. The Eagles stand to net a high compensatory pick if Phillips leaves, but it seems like they’d rather just keep the player.

Yeah, we just don’t know if he actually took that visit before signing with the Chargers. Very well may have, they may have passed or not been willing to pay as much as the Chargers

I don't get the sense that Graziano is plugged in to this team judging by the podcast he did with Keim. But Phillips and Rasheed definitiely overlaps Keim.

I get that sense that Keim and Standig have no big leaks to help them at RB. Keim threw Etienne out as a name recently as a hypothetical but my rule of thumb with Keim is I need to hear a name twice to buy the hint. If I recall Standig is pushing they are interested in Allgeier. Walker would be a surprise to me but a great one. If you buy what the NY reporters say they believe the Giants will be all over Walker.

Could be.

Allgeier who Standig is beating the drum for I like but if part of their issues with the current RB corp is they aren't pass catchers -- then neither is he, so I don't get it from that perspective.

Etienne seems tailor made -- outside zone specialist, decent pass blocker, good hands.

For me I got a bunch of guys I'd be happy with. Walker, R. White, Allgeier, Dowdle, Etienne, Gainwell.

As far as being ecstatic for me that would be Walker, close behind would be Etienne. The others would be about the same for me but all good -- R. White, Allgeier, Dowdle, Gainwell.

Caleb Downs looks like the best pure player in the draft.

If only Peters can find a pass rushing edge and wide receiver and be AGGRESSIVE out of the gate in free agency, it could free us up to take Downs at #7, assuming some of the other names mentioned here will be gone by then.

Washington's defense has been singularly unable to pressure the quarterback but also to turn the ball over on defense and protect the middle of the field.

Remember Tucker Kraft of Green Bay being made to look like Tony Gonzalez against Washington when we simply failed to cover him at all down the seam?

Quan Martin I wouldn't trust as far as I can throw him. He can't make an open field tackle to save his life. These aren't skills that can be taught, he just lacks the instincts to play the game even though he is an excellent athlete.

Will Harris? He's one step up from a replacement level player but at 30 and coming off an injury that cost half of 2025 does anyone want to count on him as a playmaker in the back seven?

I usually don't like the idea of taking a safety or linebacker this high but Downs bio and profile really stands out. He seems as much of a high ceiling/high floor prospect as any coming out.

Thank goodness. Baltimore always seems in position to grab this kind of player as they did with Roquan Smith because they draft very well and have most of their bases covered so they can deal a top pick or two and still add talent in Rounds 2-7.

Washington now has a legit owner and a team organization that is now much more respected around the league but we still have a long ways to go to plan and execute as well as a team like the Ravens.
