Blank doesn't know anything. He was the one that first signed a 37 year old declining Cousins to a $184M contract in free agency and then overruled his football people and told them to then draft Michael Penix at #9 overall.

Blank is a lot like Woody Johnson. He doesn't always meddle but he does often enough to ensure the team doesn't get anywhere.

I think the Pierce stuff is moot. Looking deeper at the Colts, they will cut Pittman and use the savings to resign Pierce. Pittman kind of acknowledged it already during his locker room interview yesterday

Oh, I would take Pittman too (But not Pittman4Two...;)). He would be that stud, possession type receiver across from McLaurin that we were lacking this year. I've also been hoping LMC can fill that big, deep threat role too, he averaged 18.5/rec.
 

Commanders' LT Laremy Tunsil makes intentions clear on social media:​



During Sunday's game, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network broke some news: the Seattle Seahawks, who clinched the NFC West and NFC's No. 1 overall seed on Saturday night, had agreed to a four-year extension with left tackle Charles Cross. The numbers: 4 years, $104.4 million — $26.1 million average per year, with $40.5 million due to Cross in year one of the deal. Rapoport also said that Cross would receive $75 million in guaranteed money.

Tunsil was paying attention and shared the following message on his Instagram.

Not only did Tunsil share the news on Instagram, but he also reposted Rapoport's message on X.

This is notable because Tunsil has one year remaining on his contract and has made it clear he wants a new deal.

"Whatever happens, happens,” Tunsil told Tashan Reed of The Washington Post last month. "Of course, I want to be paid. Of course, I want to stay with this organization.......When we get to the offseason, we can handle it."
 
Tunsil is better than Cross, so that gives us a baseline--I saw someone else post ~$28.5m AAV would put him over Wirfs, which I think would be fair.

i dont care what it costs. They need to get this one done early with no drama. He earned whatever his contract is going to be. He isnt the best LT in the league. But top 5-7?

Not that I think he's the greatest player in history, but I find it wild that we would criticize a top CB from another team, when we've fielded one of the worst defenses in the league for years.

He's certainly better than the trash we've been putting on the field - although I hope Trey Amos changes all of that.

Fwiw.....he was the top rated defensive player on the entire Packers team yesterday, three days after joining the squad.

 
Would not hate White at all. He is probably the best 3rd down back on the market this offseason.
 
Would he be RB1 though? He looks like more a McNichols replacement, or would he replace Rodriguez?
 
Looking at his numbers, he's a versatile back, but lacks Rodriguez size. He definitely brings an element we lack, or haven't developed in Bill.

This would also reduce Daniels scrambling too, given a check down outlet out of the backfield we lack
 
Rachaad isn’t a particularly good between the tackles runner. Canales tried that with him when he was there and it didn’t go particularly well. I think I still want Hall, Walker, Dowdle and Dobbins over him, acknowledging a bunch of those guys get resigned

While I agree, especially when it comes to Hall, it all depends on what the staff thinks of Bill. If they believe he is their guy on early downs they probably wouldnt go after an expensive option like Hall. White would make a ton of sense then.
