I wonder if Terry’s strong contested catch ability is predictive of a longer WR career than average, as maybe speed gets reduced but hands maintain.

It won’t surprise me. Between that and veteran experience, I think he’ll still be very productive for the next couple years even while losing a step of speed. We’ve all been a little pissed off at Terry after what happened last year, but let’s not forget how good he’s been when on the field.

I would be all in on Pierce.. but feel like there will be a lot of teams in on him and he will get way overpaid (to the tune of 20+ mil a year)

20M would be underpaid.

Back to the SIP theory that Keim rarely throws out random names. I think it’s in the beginning of the Blough interview from yesterday. He really talks up Pierce and Likely as being good fits. briefly brings up Breece Hall.

I think it’s fair to say that we will be taking some big swings in FA. We are going for Pierce if he’s available, and probably for Likely.

He’s been less specific about defense. Consistently brings up CB and edge. Referenced Oweh at some point. Said he wasn’t sure about Hendrickson, but he’s a great pass rusher.

I’ve seen fans connect us to him (mainly due to name recognition I think, his play has fallen off a good bit), but it always makes me feel squeamish when I see fans of his current team hoping he goes. And I’m seeing that a lot with Seahawks fans fresh off a SB win

The guy is living off his rookie year. Between their 2 FA corners, I bet Seattle ends up keeping Jobe

Isn't Woolen giving up a passer rating of only 55 when targeted?

He's not as elite as he was as a rookie, but 55 is still really good.

If they dive into that 2nd tier RB group, I watched some Rachaad White and Kenneth Gainwell. I like both.

White I think has the better potential as to taking that next step -- better overall athlete, size, etc.

But Gainwell might be the more dangerous pass catcher, i think the thing that works for him is he has soft hands, and being short with a low center of gravity, he's harder to spot when catching balls in traffic

Logan on with Grant in the Take Command mailbag (I think) had an interesting opinion on FA CB's. Said if they run anything like the Flores defense, they don't need a "big splash" corner. Said they can do with Amos and Mikey on the outside with fill-in talent elsewhere.

I've said something along these lines and a lot of the time it gets dismissed. An upgraded system, and some key additions along the front 7 changes the dynamic of the secondary.

Logan Paulsen on his last podcast pushing Mofe and Ossai -- thinks Ossai is twitchy and up and coming.

I posted last week about Ossai. He is bendy, twitchy, only 25 and full of potential. He should come quite a bit cheaper than Mafe or Oweh but has similar potential. He'd be great combined with one of those two players or our 1st or 3rd used on a Edge

Yeah, he left off a few peices but puts the backup QB as TBD. All the local reporters put Mariota at 50/50 to come back and that's who I would want.

Only so many spots. For a backup rotational edge, I’d rather have Jacob Martin at 1/5 and JJB on a rookie deal vs Ossai on 2/20 or 3/30

We should be able to extend Drake Jackson cheaply. If he can stay fit then he’s another one to throw into this mix.
