that deal was cheap so I don't think this takes them out of Hendrickson

Great question. They have lots of excess draft capital and cap space due to the Parsons trade (compared to the space that would’ve been allocated to him), so they may go hard. Guess we’ll find out.

Could just as easily be the case that they were exploring both avenues and chose one

I take all of that as maybe Linderbaum from Keim. I needed to see it from him or Schefter to buy the rumor seriously.

I love the player. But I don't see how they pull off big spends on CB, Edge, WR -- and a decent size spend at RB and TE and also the most expensive center in NFL history. So if that comes at the expense of one of those positions, I don't love it, even though I love the player.

I personally would much rather we shoot for 2 top tier guys than go 'mid' and try to upgrade every position group. Our approach last season set us back a season or two. I think it's better to unequivicoally set ourselves at a couple of positions knowing that it may be next year before we can do that at all of our areas of need.

Also getting ready to make our LT the highest paid in NFL history. We have the cap space to do all of these as long as Peters works the agreements the right way. Hell the Eagles have been doing it for a decade. And it is just now starting to catch up to them. And they have stacked comp picks doing this and allowing guys to leave. Have built with young guys for depth. Big question for me is Josh Harris willing to be a big spender. Because so far he has not show that he is.
