Magee and Sinnott have talent but as folks have indicated they haven't forced the coaches into putting them on the field and then refusing to get off it with productive play.

I never said depend on Burks. I get that there are injury concerns. Hell, that is the reason I've been dead set against Tyson all along.

I just don't understand how he repeatedly isn't included in conversations that include McCaffrey and Lane. As a rookie, he had a 7/111 game against GB and immediately followed that with a 4/70/1 against Cincy with iffy QB play. That is better than half of McCaffrey's production over a 2 year career and Burks did it in just 2 weekends.

Another fun fact I didn't know about Burks before digging around this morning - he played out of the slot in college more than on the outside. He could theortically play any WR position in the offense.

You can't help wonder if Arizona drafted Love as a marketing gambit. He probably is the player most likely to sell jerseys.

I like Burks, I was a big proponent of signing him when TN let him go. I think he has upside that McCaffrey and Lane don't have.

I just don't know that all THREE aren't just crabs in the barrel.

They have to crawl out of the barrel and start impressing us.

After his HC already said he’ll be playing ILB and moving around from there. Just horrible to have one of your franchise players questioning every move publicly lol. This was after Nabers basically saying live that they better not take a WR at 5 WHILE they were on the clock lol. Despite the fact that his knee is still Swiss cheese.

Poor guy, I didn’t even think of that. He must be pissed. He’ll likely hit his third contract period in FA never having had a shot at 200+ touches since his rookie year

It wouldn't entirely surprise me if Algier asked for a trade. Might even be possible considering how poor a year it was for running backs in the draft.

He's the unquestioned best player at his position in the draft and we haven't had a safety that was worth a **** since Sean Taylor.

I'll be more specific Bernard and Antonio Williams and probably Sarratt but especially Bernard and Antonio would be IMHO good picks at 71.

I don't care about some stat that 3rd Wrs fail. I just look at them as players. It was like Sheehan last year going on and on that almost no chance Croskey-Merritt will be a find because of the stats of 7 round busts at that spot.

If people want to depend on that stats, its cool, to each their own. But it doesn't influence what I think of the players.

I agree with you on those three and a few others. We certainly can't count on any of them reaching 71 though

Burks was a first round pick who just never put it together due to injuries, but there is some potential there. He’s a wild card, probably won’t happen, but he could be good. We have quite a few like that in the WR room.

Dyami could also break out. He had 14 catches for 229 yards and a TD in the 2024 postseason. He and Jayden were clicking, I was shocked they let him go, but I think that rapport is why he’s back.

LMC and Lane have been good on special teams, but they both have some potential as offensive weapons. Luke is interesting as a converted quarterback and because of his pedigree, he could be a really good player, and he got hurt just as he started contributing on offense last year. Lane is exciting just because of the raw speed, could be a good deep threat.

I expect at least one of this group to have a breakout year. I’m rooting for LMC, and you’re right it could be Burks, but I would bet on Dyami.

I don’t think they were looking at Love at all at that point. It wasn’t until the hype train cranked up to full speed after the combine that they were even considering him. Also, Benson is coming off an injury so they wanted insurance.

I believe we have very little invested in said middle of the road RB’s. I don’t think it would be a problem to let one go if an opportunity for an upgrade comes around.

Most likely Cleveland would have made the Fano pick at six if they couldn’t trade back. Styles was falling to us, and I think we still would’ve taken him even if Delane was there. Saints probably would’ve taken Tyson either way as well. I don’t think KC needed to make that trade.
