The 2026 Draft Thread - 1st Round - 7th overall

I wanted to trade down...but Styles is ultimate QB spy.

Team speed on defense in one offseason went from a weakness to a strength.

Can't fix everything same time...I respect them addressing this like they did this offseason.

He is going to ERASE most TE’s. Really exciting prospect since every TE in the league has made us their bitch for over a decade. Even random 4.8 TE’s would tear us up over the middle on non-play action routes. No longer

Kind of glad Bain going to AFC, you know that dude is coming into league with a chip on his shoulder about the short arms thing and related doubts.

Feel the same. For me it was Love and Styles. They were the blue chip game changers in my mind. Styles by all accounts is a great great character person who also happens to be an athletic freak. An all American. He will become the leader of our defense and the most popular player after JD on the team.

Can’t wait to watch him with Luvu.

Don’t forget Chanel! He’s going to be a fan favorite

I'm dying for the '27 1st round thread. I have so many things to discuss... like how overrated the '27 Draft is currently by the media (but it's not bad...)

Unfortunately neither of his arms are long enough to reach up and pull the chip off the opposite shoulder, so he’s stuck with it 😔

It can also be a good time to talk about the team didn't pick a CB in the first two rounds in '26, so they need to up their game and pick another one before they can acquire a WR.

I know it’s hard to be in QB hell and 13 is inordinately high for them to be picking, but I think the Rams should have gone all-in with Stafford one last time and taken Lemon or someone. Worry about QB after Stafford retired and try to go 100% for one last SB

I agree with this, we took the blue chip athlete and clear BPA, and ultimately that’s probably better than a pretty good athlete drafted for need. I was disappointed to see Tate and Delane going early, but that may end up being a blessing in disguise, we probably got a better player this way.

In addition to his athleticism, I also like the versatility he brings as a converted safety and reputation for high character.

The more I think about it the more I like the pick.

He wasnt used last season as a blitzer much but as his Ohio State LB coach said he can do a lot of the same stuff as Reese on that front. He had 6 sacks the season before
