So a trade up to #3 would roughly cost us #7, #71, and say our 2027 4th rounder. But if there are other suitors, maybe it's the 2027 3rd.

Both are contested catch monsters. Tyson can manufacture offense but has a crazy list of injuries…

2022 Colorado – Left Knee ACL, MCL, PCL tear, vs Oregon missed last three games of season.

2023 Arizona State – Missed the first nine games of season as he rehabbed, played last three games, appeared in against Utah, UCLA, Arizona, and did not record any stats.

2024 Arizona State– Left collarbone fracture, missed two games

2025 Arizona State – Low ankle sprain, missed part of spring practice.

2025 Arizona State – Hamstring strain, both sides, vs Texas Tech, Arizona, missed three games. Opted out of bowl game.

As to Tyson’s highlights he’s a contested catch monster but if you watch every game its easy to see he is not. He’s a contested catch highlight reel but is wildly inconsistent on that front and his contested catch score is actually pedestrian.

Part of the reason why he’s a polarizing prospect in the NFL according to McShay among others is some think he’s soft including with the ball in his hands and at the catch point.

Don’t get me wrong I think he’s a good player but not a great one. But in short IMO and the stats back it up, he’s not a physical player

It's just speculation, then argue about "who we should've taken", bitchin' about why we didn't make a trade, blah, blah, blah.

I was so excited about 2012, I put my toothpaste on the wrong side of my toothbrush. I'll absolutely never freak out happy like that again. It is what it is.

I disagree with soft. I actually think he has no idea how to take contact or when it's coming and he gets wrecked entirely too often because of it.

I also had a whole post you ignored yesterday or the day before about Tyson’s body movement. It’s terrible. He cuts like he wants to tear his ligaments. It matters. I put a lot more weight on that than how his legs “look”







This fella Fusue is a weirdo but he’s obsessed with movement patterns like this and he’s NAILED injury-prone guys for years because of this.

It's just kind of what these forums are for. Discussing things - we all have opinions. If yours is to be happy with our pick, do it! Don't let anyone dull your shine.

But this is a polarizing position for us to be in and whatever we do is going to be met with every possible emotion.

I love that we still feel.
 
Watching McShay. He says Quinn feels pressure to fix the defense. He said they’d go Love though but he won’t fall there. He says they love Styles. Then he goofs on the WR room in detail going through the players. So Muench goes he’d take Tate even if Styles is on the board. Then McShay goes I hear you but Quinn is driving this

Curious those that watch tape. Would you take Reese or Styles? For me it is about measurables. And I would take Styles. But this might be one time where analytics would fail. Reese is a frikin monster.
 
McShay finishes by saying he thinks they go Styles if he falls but won’t be shocked if they went Tate.

McShay said he would take Styles if i recall its his 2nd favorite player in the draft

Honestly, I think what's more depressing than not helping Blough and JD5 here is that the guy on the hot seat is driving the bus and not the guy we hired to drive the bus.
