Agree, though Glazer doesn't report a ton but when he does its usually spot on. I recall some saying the Giants will never deal Beckham -- and Glazer said they would and soon. I know he's had some other items, too. But agree, its a tease so he should keep that to himself.

If Steve Smith is saying Carnell Tate is the best prospect in this class I’m not arguing with him.

Tyson could be, but he takes a ton of contact, runs awkwardly on his legs and already has a vast history of leg injuries. He’s not as good of a blocker, has worse hands.

I don’t get why this is even a question. If it’s not Love, it needs to be Tate.

Yes he has a whole video. Watch it. It’s been a couple weeks since I watched but I’m pretty sure he liked him. Stopped short of comparing him to himself.

Eh. Maybe it's me, but I think all these guys get some information from a variety of places, and then make what they think are as educated guesses as possible.

Sometimes they are right, sometimes they're not. I'm not saying they're not hearing things. I'm sure they are. Keim was really emphatic on his last pod that he didn't know, he had a guess based on what he has heard from within the organization, but he wouldn't be surprised if they went a different way because Peters doesn't tell anybody what he's thinking. So, it's far from spit-balling, but it also isn't reporting.

Nobody is right 100% of the time.

I personally don't care if they get it right or not. We're going to find out on Thursday what actually happened, and I guess maybe I'm significantly less invested in the prediction game because we know when we're going to know which team picked who, and trying to guess ahead of time might be a fun exercise, but it's entirely pointless in the end.

I know others try to read the tea lives and predict it, which is fine. I've just never cared that much about the prediction game.

I'm not going to think more or less of Keim or Schrager or anybody else based on whether their predictions come true or not.

The "Grind the Mocks" guy on Galdi (who, candidly, seemed like a bit of a pretentious know it all) had them taking Downs. Shrug.

We'll find out tomorrow night.

The guys I don't care for are the idiots like dumbass arrogant fool Thor Nystrom who says things like "I haven't been so sure the NFL has messed up since they passed on Lamar Jackson" when talking about Malik Willis. Those guys I don't care for. (Ironically, doing something like that MIGHT have put Kiper on the map because of his feud over the Colts not picking Dilfer. So maybe I should get over my hatred of Thor. However, I turned over a new leaf with PFF, and I think one new leaf ever few yeas is plenty.)
 
I got a bad feeling that Love and Tate are going to selected before our pick. Those are my #1 and #2 preferences.

I’d just stop looking at Love like he could be a Commander. He’s a kid to be gone at this point. I’d be more shocked if he’s there than any not named Mendoza

Absolutely. Then, if anything actually DOES happen, he can come back after the fact and say "Yeah, I knew it all along, that's what I was talking about."

Win-win for him, a waste of time for us.

Also, you can say that, and literally you can always claim how smart you are if something happens, and if it doesn't, you can say "there was something, but it fell through at the last minute."

So you can never be wrong.

It's just "look at me" clickbate.

Sure. You’re going to judge a guy because he played across from the best receiver in college football? I know I wouldn’t. I also know they moved him around and saw a lot of coverage from a lot of players. I think it’s a total non factor
 
Jeremiah in a recent podcast also said there would be a "biggish" trade involving a vet player during the draft.
 
I am down to hoping that some dumbass intern for a top-6 team will write "Lorenzo Styles" instead of "Sonny Styles" on a draft card by mistake and will turn it in before anyone notices...

WR is easier to fill and yet we’ve had a smoking crater at WR2 for three offseasons in a row, while wasting multiple premium draft picks on swings on CB’s in that time

Maybe this time will be different and it’ll all work out best case scenario

Allowing a mediocre or worse offense for the second year in a row might ruin our young QB and his development, and damage his enthusiasm for the franchise.

Allowing a mediocre defense for the third year in a row might be bad for Quinn, but just means we likely aren’t making the playoffs, which would likely also be the case in scenario A.

There are larger concerns at play than just the overall 2026 roster and filling holes. We’re entering year 3 with Jayden Daniels and need to commit to his 5th year option next offseason, and start talking extension if he’s the guy. Franchise-altering stuff. It’s not just how you get the most well-rounded roster this season, you need to support this QB or there are potentially dire consequences beyond the jobs of our current coaching staff.

Grant Paulsen ironically hit it on his show today, 2:30 pm if you got back and listen. He used to be a beat guy before working for the radio station.

Almost word for word, explained how the process works similar to what I said about my experience in my profession.

A. The head honcho rarely is the source. It's not just Adam Peters who doesn't talk

B. Its others in the building, its agents talking to people in the building, its teams talking to other teams, on and on

C. It's a game of telephone, info speads, tough to keep anything in house that easily if you are holding onto it with some time

D. Info is out there, some of it true, some of it false, reporters have to be good at weeding through the real and BS

E. The idea that you don't know squat unless the main source is spilling directly to the media is silly -- the head honcho isn't typically talking to the media, its about everyone else.

But back to your point, yeah I don't fault these guys for getting it wrong either, I respect them trying. Harder for Schafter than Keim because he has to hit every team.
