Nothing wrong with pastry.

It's all good. I was a little unhappy with Sean Taylor as our pick and then super unhappy with Laron Landry. I just thought no team needs two safeties picked that high.
I remember writing something titled "The problem with pastry" all about it on ES. To some degree, even though it is even more of a passing league I still think of safeties as pastry. Washington needs more meat and veggies than desert. OTOH, with all the big plays we give up, maybe we need light and flakey to top off the meal.

Kam Curl was a HUGE part of our defense. He was a pretty sure tackler, enabled our coverages to be successful and understood his assignments and got to the right place.I liked Kam Curl and thought it was a mistake to let him go. I would not draft a Kam Curl with the seventh pick in a draft. So, saying he's a rich man's Kam Curl just makes me want him less.

Yes. This has been one of my may points on why Love is so beneficial for us.With all the talk of needing a WR to compliment Terry, wouldn’t Love help in that dept too? Tyreek Hill lead the league in reception yardage in 2023 and was 2nd in 2022. Just saying by taking Love #7, doesn’t mean we are totally ignoring receiving production. I understand eventually you need to replace Terry (maybe as soon as next year), but Love is an elite talent, Tate is not in that category. Love could have a Barkley type effect on this team year one.

Many fans aren’t seeing that, though, and see “RB” and only think of running and not blocking and receiving as well.
I honestly don’t understand anyone saying, “RB that early doesn’t make sense”
I’d take Jahmyr Gibbs or Bijan at 7. No questions asked.

Go to Reddit. Lots of fans don’t want Love.Love is a real popular pick with fans, from really all potential teams who might take him, I was listening to someone who knows the Titans brass saying he wonders if that FO caves into their fan lust for Love especially with the new stadium opening.
Very popular pick with this fan base, with some stragglers. He seems though a mixed bag with national-local media -- not in the context of him as a player but the idea of taking a RB early even with their familarity with him being a passing weapon.

I am not guy who is in favor of drafting RB's high. I formally focus on the strength of the draft which normally goes hand in hand with BPA at positions of value and need to the teams roster.Love is a real popular pick with fans, from really all potential teams who might take him, I was listening to someone who knows the Titans brass saying he wonders if that FO caves into their fan lust for Love especially with the new stadium opening.
