This really across as being becomes a major slight on Tate. I agree with the debate around position value etc.

Of course, he's not responding for the Commanders and I listened to the whole segment on the radio, that blurb is just a segment of it. But the question was who do they think they would take. Keim at a minimum is making an educated guess. If I made my own guess about his guess -- I would gather he has at least run it up the pole with whomever he knows at the FO, and has gotten the vibe they are intrigued by Love. But as I've said I'll take it more seriously in the last 10 days.

I really doubt we take Love (if he is available). Less than 30% odds is my bet. I won't be surprised if we go D, even though I want Tate.

Could end up being a moot point since a lot of folks believe Love will be gone by #7
 
I’d love to get Daniels a weapon, but I’d take Bailey and Styles, too.

Though Styles over Love is a tough call. It’d really be based on how far the coaches think Bill can take us.

I've been listening to a lot of the Take Command podcast with Grant and Logan (great listen, by the way) and Logan is bullish on the WRs in this class. He thinks we can get a legit WR2 with our 3rd rounder.

The issue I have with Tate is that he's not necessarily a sure fire elite WR yet we'd be using a #7 on him if he were the only option between him and Love. With Love, there is the positional value factor but I'm less concerned with that given how highly drafted RBs like Bijan Robinson and Jahmir Gibbs have performed and helped their teams of late.

I like Styles more than Love, but Love is a bigger need

I think we can get one...if we trade up for #71. But relying on one to fall to there is a bit risky.

Take Command is great. And so is Logan. My only issue with Logan is he falls in love with a zillion prospects. So yeah as far as WR goes like most spots the world is at our feet in his book. But some of these guys are going to bust -- Logan has the cup is half full take of so many prospects and especially at WR -- i get why his default position is to trade down.

Peters stuck firm on his principles with the McLaurin deal, and I hope we can all acknowledge at this point he was right to do so.

The “just pay Terry” people were not only fools but damn fools.

Peters had a number and he wouldn’t stray too far from it. And it doesn’t matter when the negotiations started, Terry wasn’t going to get what he wanted and it was going to drag on.

And then compare that to Tunsil’s deal: Peters knew he had to pay top dollar. And he did.

If they went out and paid significantly more for Doub than Terry, that’s not a great sign to the roster.

Putting a roster together is multi-dimensional chess. And people make mistakes. every decision is so interconnected, though, there is no right answer.

If I made my guess about his guess there’s no way Peters or anybody confirmed or denied anything about any player.

I took it as Keim’s opinion.

Which is fine.

And I’m sure he’s hearing things from people. I just doubt it’s anything from any decision maker.

And that’s not a slight. It’s that I don’t think the decision makers are even telling their pets what they are thinking.
 
Take Mansoor and Bain off the list and I am ok with any of the others. I'd really like Love, Bailey, Styles, Tate and Downs in that order at the point.

It's a rerun conversation between you and me. Your answers are consistent and predictable. So are mine. So there is nothing to be gained for going down that rabbitt hole.

And we know Peters doesn't talk.

Peters knew he had to close that deal out otherwise it would have been 0/3 including the Deebo and Lattimore trades. Tunsil had the easiest bargaining position imaginable.
