I tell you.....breaking this film down (and I'm only about 1/3 of the way through). WOW. Its safe to say we have raised our game to another level even over just the past 5 weeks. This is great football to watch. Honestly, its like the Chiefs over the past 2 years.

I was still stunned watching the replay in the middle of the night. We were just straight up awesome!!!

We have coaches who are teachers! For so long, so few players improved from their college days. We've seen so many players grow this year and many of those who couldn't we cut... regardless of draft status (which is also great to see.)

Something I learned when I first started coaching way back in the day from Gary Andersen in his only year in HS ball. He told me "I love how much you know about football. But your useless to me if you can't teach the kids. It doesn't matter what you know, its what can you get the kids to know and then produce." I have tried to live that since then. I see that, on the PRO level, with this team. Amazing and as a coach.....a 'No SH*T Sherlock' moment.
 
Ironically Ben Johnson helped Washington, the team he spurned last year.

With Gibbs averaging 9 yards a carry, he calls for Jameson Williams to throw the ball off a reverse that gets picked off by the Commanders at a key point of the second half.

What a dumb play. I laughed when Brady said he didn’t like the idea of a wide receiver looking to read the defense and pass the ball in an elimination game where you are moving the ball😆😆

There were more Cowardly Lions in this version, but I liked it better than the original.
 
I genuinely think that's the best team performance I've seen since the 91 team were killing everyone. Every facet of the game seemed to be sparking, it was awesome!!

Give the guy a break. If your running back is snapping off 8 yards a carry that's pretty boring. Why not go for a low percentage shot. Why do what's working and killing and embarrassing the other team?
 
We had the Lions panicked up 2 scores, just like how the Ravens forgot that they had a great running game last year vs the Chiefs.

This might be the start of a trend. As bad as Hurtz has been passing the ball wouldn't it be great to see them do it as well with Barkley not getting carries?

It would be great. Both of these teams (DET and PHI) have been way more committed to running than most (running in 4th quarter even when behind, etc.). I think the Lions got a little rattled like you said. I don't think the Eagles will, they are way more experienced in big games. It was surprising though - because DET has trusted their running game when behind, before. They definitely got too cutesy and it cost them.

I believed before the DET game, we could win if we outcoached them. That clearly happened. It's not some big stretch, a lot of playoff games are determined by coaching due to the skill level of the teams remaining. Hopefully they can get the kind of penetration that I thought the DET OL would prevent. To me, getting a fair amount of pressure without a huge blitz was the difference in DET. They did that pretty consistently, and sometimes got a bit of pressure with just 4 or 5 I think. If they can replicate that in PHI, their chances skyrocket.
