It was mentioned by someone already but the absence of Noah Brown is being felt and it's a bit ironic because that signing at the time was met with a lot of underwhelming reaction from a portion of the fan base who wanted Peters to go all in on making bigger splash, however, he was able to block on the edge and other than a mild case of the dropsies in a game, was actually pretty reliable as a target behind Terry. It's unfortunate that Dyami didn't really start to ball until recently. Good front offices aren't just there to bring in the big names, but also find the role playing gems who help with the details that don't make the sportscenter highlights necessarily.

That's funny. The reaction on BGO was euphoria. Everyone was sitting on the edge of their seat hoping he would be claimed once he got cut. I remember at least a half dozen posters championing his signing.

Im not sure how you can call it one of the worst 1 in 1 matchups in the league when historically lattimore has owned Evans.

I don’t have the numbers but not sure how true this is. It doesn’t matter though-

I am really talking about how long they took. That last Bucs TD drive had a lot of that 1-on-1 matchup getting exploited. With every situation you factor context.

- weeks ago, lattimore struggled against eagles 1
- hamstring issues
- this week, through a couple drives it didn’t look good

At that point, before that second TD drive I would have pulled the plug on it. They were one drive too late in my opinion. It could have ended up as a very costly mistake.

Then again… the result is pretty sweet so who knows! That was my feeling at the time though.
