I’m throwing a dart here…

Does anyone know how to get rid of the ‘Sign-in with Google’ pop-up on ios. I have tried each and every solution available on search engines and none work.

Where are you seeing this? I have an iPhone and don't get it, but I am also signed into YouTube, Nest, and gmail on my phone so maybe that is why?

Mostly opening the CNN website. From what I have found, this is easily solved for Android but impossible for Apple. Probably a continuation of their war.

Interesting. I just opened that site in safari and didn't get a popup.

Are you using chrome as your browser?

Safari. But I think I opted in to that service (iirc) sometime in the past. Now that decision haunts me. 😑

Ooooh okay I see. You should be able to clear that out with your cookies/cache.

Try going to cnn's page in incognito mode and see if you get that popup.

Yeah, it shows up there, too. Also on Chrome and Firefox.

And you are already signed in to a google account? Or you don't want to sign in and it keeps bugging you?

Is it like the iOS level popup? Or is it a browser level popup?

How about just signing in on Google!

That usually gets rid of it. 😂 😆

When I log into my google account and go to settings, it allows me to turn off the sign in feature…but only for android operating systems. Hence my supposition that it relates to the warm relationship between Google & Apple. 😉
