Yeah, that’s a big loss. Our TEs have over-achieved across the board. Hopefully, we find a great replacement…

Not familiar but shocker, he worked with Rivera at some point (though this was 20 years ago)
Castillo was most recently an OL coach, Hoener also had OL coaching history.

Hoener has got it done his entire career. It goes well beyond just what he has done with our TE group.
Greg Olsen, Vernon, Davis, Delanie Walker - these are all guys he tutored into becoming productive players at their position in the NFL.
Let's not forget that the Tight End position group was arguably one of the supposed weakest units on our team when Rivera walked through the doors. Now, in Thomas, Seals-Jones, and Bates, you can argue that we are as set there as any other unit on our team.
Congratulations to Pete. He will be missed.
All this means is that I will gush even more now on the pods about Matsko...
