Something Positive

It was the 07-08 game. Didn't realize there was trouble at the 05 game too.

Only for those of us that were there :) Seattle fans are scum. I hope they get drubbed.

I don't like either team. But I do want it to be a blowout. One way or the other, I want total humiliation.

I'll find nothing to be happy about for the winner. But I'll take great pleasure in the loss. The bigger the loss, the greater the pleasure.

This is about how I feel. I'm rooting hard for the meteor.

Effing Seattle fans screamed the f bomb in my 10 year old's face, threatened to kill me, total dicks at the Seattle playoff game. That was pretty much the universal playoff experience for Redskins fans in 2005. You need to root against them. It's fine to hate the Pats, but when it comes to Redskins hatred, not many teams should surpass the Seahawks.

Was that the 2007/8 wildcard game BB?
I'd heard about a lot of bad stuff going on at that game.

Tom, it was the 2005 season (January 2006) and it was a miserable fan experience. I had my arm in a sling and they threw shit at me, they tried starting fights and were generally obnoxious as hell. Vile in many cases. Rudest people I have ever met in my journeys throughout this country and I have been to 46 states.

And none of you ended up in a fight or jail....

See Bellichick's presser earlier today, where he talks about the balls, psi and their experiments?

Seattle's gonna get their ass whipped...cause Bill's pissed. :)

What's your point? If I hadn't had my 10 year old son with me, I guarantee you I'd have ended up in one or both. No one would've put up with what I put up with except out of concern for their kid.

Umm...in case you missed it, I had broken my arm 30 minutes prior to entering the stadium. Jerkface McChooch!

My point? It was kind of a compliment. Wow...I'd have been locked up.

But...**** it. I will refrain from complimenting you buttholes (looking at you choochster) any more. Instead I will just return to laughing at Brians brittle girly bones

Sorry, that was poor wording....but to answer your question, I fantasize at times not having my son with me, and breaking the nose of the first Seahawks fan that got in my face, because I would've gone Marine Infantry on him and anyone else who decided he wanted a piece of me that day. It may have been the maddest I've ever been as an adult!

Teams other than the Redskins are making all the big splash headlines in free agency.

... and so far, the two bodies we've added are both linemen on the right side of 30.

low center of gravity on these dudes - 6'1 and 303 and 6'2 and 297 :)

Gotta win that battle for leverage.

My buddies who are fans of other NFCE teams are asking what's going on with the Redskins. "They are usually a lot more active than this!"

My response: they finally hired a professional GM and he's doing the job right for the first time in 20 years. Never thought I'd be so thrilled by inactivity.

The signing of Paea and bringing in pot roast is encouraging that the DL is beefing up the right way.

The Skins have been fairly 'quiet' for some time in FA, last year seemed splashy because of the DJax deal that virtually fell into our lap.

Unfortunately, until the Skins start drafting, signing and winning consistently they will continue to be perceived as the splash makers, at least to our ears.

It is interesting how many of the big deal signings somehow get tagged as 'Redskinesque', perhaps when some of these new deals go belly up there will be another tag, maybe Eagle or Miami-esque.

It will be pleasant to see that day or at least get to the point that the tag changes to something like 'old time Redskinesque'

Agreed. I am hoping we keep the low profile and draft right from now on. Rebuilding the Defense with free agents is the right way to go though. and the quickest. Drafting rookies and pluggin them in to start is sort of feeding them to the wolves. It still takes some time to get up to NFL speed. There is no substitute for veteran experience even with rookie talent. Looks like our GM has a free reign for stocking the cupboard.

That's what I like about this year most of all, we really have a FRESH start on the rebuild. Refreshing, and, the whole league is shaken up during this time of year and what comes out of it will be new playoff contenders. What I'm talking about is contending for the division. That's all it takes to make it, and Dallas has already lost a few guys to bring them back to the pack. What we want after all is said and done, is that the division will become wide open as a result. that alone will give us new life.

Another response - it's not that hard to learn from 20+ years of repeatedly making the same obvious and horrendous mistakes
