REDSKINS MAKE ROSTER MOVES

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. – The Washington Redskins announced today that they have made the following roster moves:

The Redskins waived the following player, designated as injured:
CB Greg Stroman

The Redskins waived the following player:
TE J.P. Holtz

The Redskins terminated the contract of the following player from the practice squad:
LB Darrell Williams

The Redskins signed the following players:
DL T.Y. McGill
CB Simeon Thomas

McGill looks like a stiff in re his bio.

Small at 6'0 and 299 for a guy with no pass rush upside.

Couldn't we find someone younger than 27 and having played for 3-4 teams?

I'll keep saying it... We're willing to drop young guys we know have future potential (like Davis and Holtz) for dregs from other teams because Gruden is on ‘Survivor' and will sacrifice anyone if he thinks it will meet a need for this week. That's what happens when you let ‘Dead Man Walking' occur. I'm all about patience and I've been glad they've given Gruden an extended chance to grow into the job. But you had to either fire him or extend him going into this season. He's got no incentive to do the right thing long-term for this team. None.
