REDSKINS MAKE ROSTER MOVES

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. – The Washington Redskins announced today that they have made the following roster moves:

The Redskins signed the following players to their active roster:
DE Marcus Smith
DB Alex Carter

The Redskins placed the following players on their Reserve/Injured list:
QB Colt McCoy
TE Jordan Reed

I am afraid Colt is another player in that category of oft-injured.

We asked him to step in in 2014 and 2018 for significant time and once again he got injured early on and was out of the lineup.

At 33 next year we need to move on from McCoy to get a younger stronger thrower in here to develop.

Sudfeld was not that player so I unlike some others here I wasn't crying when he was cut.

But the original idea was a good one.
