REDSKINS MAKE ROSTER MOVES


LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. – The Washington Redskins announced today that they have made the following roster moves:

The Redskins signed the following free agent:

OL Orlando Franklin


The Redskins signed the following player to their active roster from Baltimore's practice squad:

G Arie Kouandjio


The Redskins placed the following player on their Reserve/Injured list:

LB Mason Foster


The Redskins waived the following player:

RB Mack Brown

Mack Brown gone. That's a surprise.

Arie is back - need him worse than Brown right now - knows the system. Could be short term move with the hope Brown will still be available once Nscheke is back.

The have more faith(they keep waiting for him) in Keith Marshall than they do Mack Brown.

Don't understand it......

Keith Marshall is on the Reserve/Injured list (out for the year). I don't think releasing him buys the Skins anything in terms of creating roster space. Still a surprise Brown got cut but I think he is PS eligible provided he clears waivers.
