Running Back Microcosm of Challenges Facing Redskins

Be nice to have a F.O.G. running attack again. Right now, we don't scare pee-wee league teams. Need that guy that can turn a missed tackle into six, from anywhere on the field.

Please, Dear Football God, send us another Larry Brown.
 
The truth is that the Redskins aren't going to have a running game until they get a back, but also not until they have a set of guards that can bust a DL and create some daylight for the runners.

Washington has the worst group of guards in the NFL, bar none.

Trent Williams is learning at LT. Jammal Brown is still trying to come back from the hip injury and toughing it out, sometimes unsuccessfully.

But at guard there is NO TALENT period.

No building blocks, nothing to start over with.

The club needs 2-3 guards on the offseason, preferably one via the draft and perhaps a pair in free agency - both under 30.
