Haslett was asked about Amerson earlier in the offseason and indicated there were no plans to have him work outside of CB.
I also don't think the team would contemplate working Hall at safety unless it is an in-game substitution.
The reasonable course is to play the next game or two with the current group and see how they sort out and then look to acquire a veteran who can contribute if and when that player becomes available during cut-downs.
