San Fran. Frisco. The Golden City. Baghdad by the Bay. The Paris of the West. Call San Francisco whatever you want, but with their 49ers winless so far in 2017, there's not a lot of hope in Mudville these days.

While not optimistic about the ‘now', some 49ers fans have hope for the future…

Audition for Cousins.

A number of fans seem to be pinning the 49ers hopes on the possible return of LB Reuben Foster following this RF tweet…

That was my thought on Vernon Davis. Could very well be the last time in his career to face the 9er's. He'll get maybe 3 targets so he's gonna want to make those really count.
I suppose it might also be Garceon's last game against Washington but he'll get 10 targets/6 or 7 catches and 70 or so yards. Might even get his 1st TD of the year but Hoyer can't hit the broad side of a barn so that's doubtful. Won't be enough for SF at the end of the day in any case.

Thompson will kill them. 49er's have been absolutely torched by pass catching RBs. 49 targets/35 receptions/300 yds and 2 TDs by their opponents so far.

I was disappointed we didn't target Thompson more, against the Chiefs.

Especially considering Kirks not having a great night connecting with receivers (14 of 24) some shorter stuff might have helped.
