LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. – The Washington Redskins announced today that they have made the following roster moves:

The Redskins signed the following free agent:
DE Frank Kearse

The Redskins signed the following college free agents:
CB Courtney Bridget
S Ross Madison
CB Blake Sailors

The Redskins waived the following players:
DL Chris Davenport
S Jose Gumbs
TE Kevin Perry
QB Tommy Rees

Wow, it's bad enough to have a female name.
Or to have 2 first names.

Keeping Tanard Jackson over Gumbs is interesting.

Maybe Tanard still has something left in the tank?

All I could find interesting on Frank Kearse, is that his nickname is "The Big Spoon"
Just not sure how or why.......like did it come from a college or pro roommate who had to share a bed with him ?

Gumbs was horrendous here, I would have been dumbfounded if he had made the team again this year.

He was awful in the secondary and from Chris Cooley's review of the special team films at the end of the season said while Gumbs was on all of the coverage units he didn't seem to know where to go and looked lost.
