Rating the QB class of 2011

Yep. I recall a certain mod who said Westbrook was going to be a goner within a few hours. Perhaps his info was accurate at the time, but a change of heart can happen when a player demonstrates true remorse and saves himself in the last hour.
 
If the Skins trade up for anybody this year in the first round I will be sick. We have way to many needs to trade up.

The Problem is with the whole insider thing is Everybody is lying to everybody at this time of year. We could make up some good stuff that would probably be considered insider information.

I don't trust the insiders, I just thought it was interesting. I find it all quite entertaining myself. Never really bothered to seek out how often they were correct. I have always found it funny that they would release vital information that has to do with our plans in the draft. Seems like a good way to get fired.
 
Nice find - that was an interesting read. I still have a sneaking suspicion we're going to grab Locker. I hope this guy is right about him if we do :)
 
I enjoyed the read also. I think I am just happy that someone else dislikes Gabbert besides myself.

I have been up and down on Locker. At this point, I would not mind if we drafted him. Whoever the Shanny's decide on is good enough for me...I think...that may change if we draft someone I don't want :)
 
I agree. I have said it before I think Locker has the highest ceiling of any QB in this draft. So if we draft him I would be confided that Shanahan knows he can help him get comfortable in the pocket and he is new franchise QB.

I have been saying for months now that if I was running the show I would skip the QB position this year but I also wanted McNabb and was happy when we traded for him... so what do I know?

Locker was a consensus top 5 pick last year, but decided to stay in school. That kind of talent doesn't just go away.

EDIT: I now find myself hoping we take Locker after reading that article! It has me pumped up!!

so...are we at the beginning of a 2 year rebuild or are we in the second year of a rebuild?
 
Year Two, brother.

Year One of any new regime is about figuring out what you have and installing a system.

Year Two is when you start to find out if Year One was a foundation-builder or indicator that another Year One may not be long in the offing.

And the whole TCU/Baugh karma that would come with him wouldn't be a bad thing for us. ;)
 
I've made another adjustment in the op. Moved Locker up based on a lot of research during the last four days. Ditto for Gabbert. May make one or two changes before the draft.
