I just watched a new MMA movie called Beast on Amazon pretty good

Havn't seen it myself, but I saw production or pre-production footage. And I know they used actual professional MMA fighters in both the movie and consultation, so it looks like they went to decent lengths to make it authentic.
If you liked that one, I'd recommend Road House, a more recent MMA movie done in 2024, which has Conor McGregor in it.

I just consumed 100% of an avocado, literally.
Once that I discovered that both the pit & skin are both edible & nutritious, I said, Why not ?
I will try anything at least once.

High-level medicine, at a fraction of the cost in US.
It's almost as if, whoever named it MEDellin, knew what lie ahead.

After Commo training at Fort Gordon I did Air Assault, Airborne, Ranger and SERE schools all back to back. That was very rare at that time but I had the extremely strong physical, mental and psychological profiles required, as well as a TS clearance. It also didn't hurt that my grandfather was a Ranger at Normandy

All of the military jets are flying into the Opalocka airport today which is about one mile due east from my place. If you have never heard military jets taking off or landing? The volume is absolutely insane

Be careful with that street food.
Even if the menu item has an exotic-sounding name in the local language, make sure it doesn't translate in English as "Monkabobs", or similar

I ate monkey kabobs at 3:00 in the morning in Panama after we graduated from jungle warfare training 🤣

Well, I suppose that's one way to get your body accustomed to the potential diet you may have to eat, if you're training for jungle survival !

You ate monkey? We were watching a travel show last night and somewhere, I don't remember where, they were buying horse meat at the market and preparing it at home. I'm sure it tasted fine and I'm an adventurous eater but no way could I eat either of these meats.

In Japan, almost 30 years ago, my new Japanese girlfriend took me to her house, where she lived with her parents, and tried to share with me some special delicacy that she wanted me to try. She told me that this was a special treat but I clearly saw that she got something from a can.

When she was not looking, I peeked and I saw Mr Ed on the can and immediately had some questions.

She was seriously going to feed me horse out of a can, as a total practical joke. She thought it was funny. 30 years later, it actually is funny 😂

So I went on, just believing or assuming that we have all had horse meat by now.

So I went on, just believing or assuming that we have all had horse meat by now.

I never heard about McDonald's but I remember Jack in the box had kangaroo meat at some point on accident.

I wonder if it tastes like chicken.
