I'm living in Tennessee and it's been raining so much lately it's almost like we are already at our other house in the Philippines. We're going there in July for a couple months. I think it's going to be rainy season too.

Well at least it's not already 85-90 degrees here. 60-70 for most of the past month has been great.

I have hardly watched any Wizards games in the past decade. But I do follow them a bit and am aware that after being terribly run by 2 GMs Ted FINALLY grew a pair and OK'd a complete tear down. He hired good people from successful organizations and they did very good things such as acquiring picks and ridding themselve of the Bradley Beal contract. The full tank job was on and this lottery was supposed to go differently.

I was able to enjoy the 'fat lady singing at the opera' with Dick Motta growing up. I used to sneak our little 4" black and white portable TV into my bedroom at night, so I could watch Wes, Big E, Bobby D., and the rest of them win it all.

I have not watched a game since the John Wall teams and agree that the Wizards are the worst of the worst in the NBA. Ted needs to sell.
 
I'm not sure what I think of this one or even what stage it's at but I have a tradition of breaking out the brushes on my birthday and this is what came out of me today.

You need to talk with Riggotoni ... I'm a very proud owner of one of his paintings.
 
When my Dad was stationed in Norfolk, we used to watch the Blue Angels at Virginia Beach on July 4th. But they also fly during graduation day celebration at the Naval Academy in Annapolis. They're scheduled for Wednesday, May 21st. But it's supposed to be rainy that day. But the good thing is, they do a practice run on Tuesday, May 20th. It's almost as good, and it's less crowded. And it's supposed to be nice. So if you want to see the Blue Angels, come on down to Annapolis on Tuesday. The jets will fly around the city from 11 AM to 1 PM. And then they'll do their practice run from 2 PM to 4 PM.

I always wanted to see the air show at Andrews. But my peak interest years were spent working as a bartender on Saturday and it was not important enough to take the night off.
 
I have issues with jets and helicopter sounds. It's gotten a lot better but they still freak me out.

During the Miami Air Show they come in bound right over my house into the Opalocka airport and every fucking time it freaks me the fuck out.
 
AKA Frisco's is our favorite place for lunch in Frederick. Today's combination was the best meal I've had there. I told this to the manager who came by to check on things, I also told the woman who got us carryout containers. As we left I was about to say it again to the person who took our order but stopped myself as I realized I was now the guy in the Geico commercials.
 
So I googled that place.

Thanks now I'm hungry.

Good thing I'm in my car in a parking lot waiting for my wife to finish shopping.

She's buying dinner! 😂
