i'm pretty they were mostly out of the #1 seed but were not mathematically out. some unlikely thing like vikings and lions both losing then tie-ing each other or something like that. i was just gloating at the finality of monday.

Heard that Philly is going to sit Barkley this week. The guy is 100 yards from breaking the NFL rushing record. A record that hasn't been broken for almost forty years. I realize playoffs are more important, but that's rotten. Barkley deserves his chance to claim the record.

So, you would think they are doing the wrong thing if this was his 16th game?
I would think that the argument is definitely stronger, but even then...
this is a team with Super Bowl aspirations. He isn't 10-50 yards away; he is 100+ yards. So, it's a real workload. I can understand keeping their eyes on the prize.

I will never forget the bit of disappointment when the Redskins sat so many players against the stupid Eagles to finish 14-2. However, that disappointment COMPLETELY MELTED AWAY when they won the Super Bowl. Is the calculus different here because the team (Eagles) doesn't have as good of a chance? I think they have a decent chance, especially with Barkley at 100 or near 100%. Sirianni is an idiot in general but I feel he got this one right.

Yeah I'm kind of iffy on Hunter sneaking to the Giants. I would be a little concerned if suddenly they signed Darnold and had both Hunter and Nabers. That's a scary duo.

I don’t think Darnold is good. I think he found himself in the absolute perfect situation and managed to excel. But I foresee as precipitous a fall as he had a climb.

I also foresee some damn fool team paying him a lot of money.
