I think they’ll be up for our game this weekend, and probably Thanksgiving, but if they lose both of those, I won’t be surprised if they mail it in for the rest of the season. Those guys in the locker room know McCarthy is a lame duck.

Of course not. This weekend’s game is massive for us, but if Cowgirls continue to struggle, it’ll be interesting to see what is riding for us on that season finale in Dallas. If we really need that win, I could see us hammering them down there, especially if a loss gives them the #1 pick in the draft.

I am sure that Dallas will give us their best effort on Sunday. The D will want to show for their old boss.

One factor we often overlook on bad teams - players start making self-preservation decisions. In a lost season, on a team where a total blow-up starting with the coaching staff is likely coming, with a lot of players planning on being elsewhere - you aren't going to see guys inclined to go for that big hit, and subject themselves to one on a crossing pattern, or make that vicious tackle on a return.

They know it's probably not worth it in 2024.

I think Dallas will try to win the game - but only up to a point. And in the NFL, guys not *quite* giving it their 110% can make a big difference. Meanwhile, we are playing for it all.
