Funny that, isn't it?

The staff in NY appears to be asking players to do things they accel at and putting them in positions where they have the best chance of success. Who would have thought that was a thing?

Wow, that is a huge move if it pans out, which I expect it will. The Eagles are a good team right now, but if they can make a move or two like this, they could easily be the Super Bowl reps for the NFC this year. I mean - easily.

Curious to know what they gave up and if they're following the Rams trend of we're close time to go all in even if it only lasts a year. Buffalo seems to be the only team that didn't ship out their draft picks to get players and did it through FA and the draft. Of course hitting on Allen also helped their cause.

Eagles are sending a fourth-round pick to Chicago in exchange for DE Robert Quinn, per source.

That's it? Did we even know about this possibility? That's almost a robbery.

Holy crap that's it, WTF?? We don't have the cap room for his contract which would be an issue and he carries a 17 mil and 18 mil for 23 and 24. Wonder if the 4th was due to taking on the salary.

Player may have had something to say about it too. Eagles vs. here is not a difficult choice.

It's like going to an auction. You may not want it, but when you see your rival bidding on it, you drive the price up when possible.

He’s 32 and sounds like Eagles had to take on a big dollar salary. We’ll see how it works out.

Bears are just clearing the decks ... they are in full rebuild mode and Quinn is neither young nor inexpensive. Wasn't going to be a part of what they're trying to build, so they're freeing up cap space and making room for young guys.

Eagles are indeed going all in. This might be the new NFL, where teams try to do this kind of on-the-fly (and expensive) reloading while they still have their apparent ascending QB on his rookie contract.

Eagles are loading up…
