Funny thing about me. Dogs>cats all day long.

Best dog I ever had, a Belgian Malinois. Brutally loyal. Sooooo intelligent and physically gifted. Guarded the house like a lion. Hi energy and intense. Mine was extremely well trained

Plus those are the choice of Navy Seal teams. They can take part in HAHO parachute jumps completed with oxygen masks.

Did you name him after David Lee Roth ? :)

Zoltan can mediate this argument - I only like other people's dogs. I'd rather have an apathetic roommate, that sometimes wants to hang out

We have only had 2 friendly cats out of all of ours. When you get a cat that actually acts like they like you and jumps on your lap they are great. Unfortunately that has not been the case here. Of course saving ferals will result in this but I get nothing out of our 4 cats, I simply service them when the wife can't.

Now my dog on the other hand.......

Yeah thats the problem with cats, a lot of them need rescuing but they tend to be hit or miss as to the disposition of the cat.

We have 5 and they are all extremely friendly, the two oldest we got at 6 months old and they are the most timid of the 5, the one we got at 4 months old is next, the one we got at 8 weeks is totally laid back and super friendly and the one that was born in my lap is the cuddliest most affectionate cat ever.

I believe with cats it matters a lot how young they are when they bond with you.

Cats are a lot like kids.
The kind of life they had when they were very young, and being raised, has a huge determination on their temperament when they are older
