I think the point is to enjoy the fact that the Eagles' window is closing, not that we should try and sign anyone away from them.

There are players like Reddick and Smith that I would take of course, but those guys aren't going to be traded or released whether Siriani stays or not.

2024 seems like an offseason of 'age' dumping by the Eagles. A lot of guys that were part of the 2017 championship team and were on last year's finalist team.

Not a good look for either one. Jay might be drunk tweeting. Robert is consistently on brand though, never even remotely accepting responsibility for anything.

Poor Robert.

Florio never misses the opportunity to take a shot though.

 
I saw that too. Initially, I was with Griffin, but then in the end, I was with Gruden. He’s right that he wasn’t good enough and other teams said the same thing.

Also, this is really just two guys who failed at their job arguing over who failed less.
 
Jay’s problem is that he’s not smart or aware enough to realize that the best thing he could’ve done in response to Griffin’s unsolicited jab was to ignore him completely.

Griffin is my least favorite former player ever.
 
Yeah, while a QB is supposed to be a leader the head coach is supposed to be the adult in the room.

Yeah..when I first saw it, I thought typical RGIII.....stirring something up to make people pay attention to him. Jay doesn't look to smart in this either. I'm guessing maybe he doesn't care about coaching anymore? I mean, I don't think I would hire someone that does a stupid public spat like this.
 
Anyone see Jay in that posted video dancing and talking at that college party that was caught on a guy's phone when he was still HC?

The last picture of him was down on the street, back against a wall, looking the worse for wear with a younger blonde near him asking him if he was okay.

I agree that both Griffin and Gruden are scum bags.

Griffin is on TV and acts as if he won Super Bowls and knows what it takes to build a championship team.

After failing to stick with Washington he was 0-7 or 0-8 as a starter on those awful Browns teams that didn't win a game for almost 2 years.

Then he was in Baltimore AS A BACKUP for several years.

I remember the one game he got into as a starter when they rested Lamar Jackson and he threw 2 interceptions in the first half :poop:

Jay doesn’t bother me. He’s been on a bunch of podcasts this season and I‘ve enjoyed his appearances.

Robert, however…if I never heard from him again it would be too soon.
 
I have heard Griffin a number of times on ESPN and other national shows, how he gets these gigs is beyond me. But he is always a jerk and for the most part so smug and self-satisfied it makes me change the channel.

I laughed my *** off earlier in the year when Griffin made a huge blooper on air and used a term for black people I hadn't heard uttered in years.

He quickly realized his mistake but was the butt of jokes for a few days as his comments were posted and reposted.

But not even that slowed him down. Still showing up talking about what Brock Purdy needs to do to be successful for the 49ers :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

We're all human. It shows you how underappreciated Gibb's accomplishments are though. It's sort of amazing he ever made it to the HOF given he's so rarely mentioned as one of the greatest all time HCs. Good for him for acknowledging the mistake.
