Their identity in my opinion was undermined during the 7 games (2-5) that Carson Wentz started

Washington ran the ball and committed fewer turnovers when Wentz was off the field.

Wentz took a host of sacks early in the season that would have had Washington near the NFL lead if he had not been replaced after the Bears game.

So, if you are looking for a defense first, run the ball, hit the play action pass and short stuff, Carson Wentz IS NOT the guy.

How can you win when you have a quarterback throwing screen passes at guys ankles and knees?

The BEST game Wentz played this year, the opener against Jacksonville, he threw 4 touchdowns but also threw 2 interceptions and had a fumble.

That's great quarterbacking?

The fact one quarterback black hole, Indy, was able to pawn off Carson Wentz on another quarterback black hole in Washington is beyond ironic.

That's the problem, there is only 'self-evaluation' taking place.

How many times in your own life have you achieved more than you thought you could by simply evaluating yourself?

For me at least teachers, coaches, bosses, other colleagues frank assessments helped me keep things 'real' at different points when I needed to hear that feedback.

Exactly....I saw his quote that their ratio of pass/run wasn't what they wanted in the first few games because they didn't have Robinson. BS....they had Gibson who carried the load last year. He can do it for a few games or use one of your other backs to spell him.

Best answer I have is this. I look at the 25th rated offense in the league, but I see McLauren, Samuel, Dotson, Logan, Robinson l, & Gibson and I figure, Shit if I do a crap job I can move that group up ten notches. That’d be a fine way to get myself on the radar.

So, maybe you don’t get the tier one guys, but if I’m a tier two guy who believes in myself I really like the talent. I’m really think I can make something happen and turn myself into a tier one guy.

The challenge is identifying who’s in that second tier who’s actually really good who’s been overlooked for whatever reason.

I think whoever replaces Turner it doesn’t matter because they are all likely gone on a year. And that’s why we won’t have many good choices.

There's only 32 NFL OC spots in the world. There will be guys that want a chance to make a name for themselves.
And who knows? If you come in and get this offense into the top 12,new ownership just might give you an interview for the HC job...or at least recommend you to the new coach for OC.......
