I sense a guy who is thinking through the game and it is a little fast for him. This is not a surprise as there is only some experiences starting can bring. I definitely love the mindset he has. His body might not give him the ability to fully embrace that mindset though, as the deep bombs a la Mahomes or the real Favre would be a struggle with his arm. But he definitely could develop into a dude who can carve up a D with an aggressive intermediate game.

I think my senses are pretty good. I thought Haskins looked like someone who was not even trying to study the game and try to process the game faster.

Turner’s playcalling is an enigma, downright confusing.

Hell if Turner doesn’t trust Gibson, Mckissik or Patterson in short yardage, why not utilize the TE’s who aren’t seeing action either. John Bates & Reyes are both 260lbs and I’d trust them to pick up 3 yards when needed. A type of Mike Allstot short game
 
Only person who threw more than Heinicke was Matthew Stafford.

Brady didn't
Mahomes didn't

But, we ask our rookie QB to do that week in and out. It makes zero sense. Especially when we have good to top running backs lined up.
 
Do I go to the Washington Football Team website to find interviews with Turner? I would really like to see how he answers questions such as these assuming they are asked.
 
I come to this shelter, seeking relief from the constant doom & gloom and excessive drama everywhere else.
Please, someone provide me with some sunshine.
 
Hopkins wasn't terribly bad, IMO.
We've had much worse, numerous times.
You just couldn't count on him from 50+.
And just a little too often, he'd let you down from around 40.
I'm not glad he's gone. But I'm not upset either.
Not just because of the above. But the fact that this new kicker is such an unknown ; a huge unknown. So he could realistically be worse, or much worse, than Hopkins.
But I'm hopeful.
 
It’ll either prove to be a major mistake, or it won’t :) Kicking it into the OL on your first attempt was not a great way to start things off but he does seem to have a big leg. We’ll see.
 
Lol def not a great first attempt. His leg looks plenty strong and I liked the way the ball seemed to come straight off his foot and didn't have much if any movement on it

From what I've seen, he's looked good. He came very close to getting a Safety on Aaron Rodgers.
And then Aaron joked with him. Which also seemed like a subtle positive sign on Io.
If you've earned enough respect from Rodgers, which is actually hard to do, for him to joke with you, then you must be doing well overall.
 
Ioannidis has flashed like he has in years past. A handful of times he just takes over his assignment and shows that great ability he's had.

That said, he's been about a stop short a couple times from being a truly dominant force. As Lovin Cousins pointed out, this was the case against the Packers where he all but had a Safety.
