Random Commanders Thoughts

Very cool. I really hope they will get Scherff locked up for the next 4-5 seasons without breaking any salary records. I know folks say that we will never be able to keep all of the pieces on this DL but I would do everything I could to keep this group together as they are the key to our future playoff/championship hopes.
 
Haskins QBR of 36 today.

He’s done here mentally. Just too many missteps and gaffes off the field and in the locker room for him or the team to overcome.

We better start Smith or Heinicke next week to have a chance.

This team was lifeless with Haskins the starter.

No energy, no edge.
 
I think it's clear even his own teammates don't believe in or want to play for him. The uptick in performance when Heinicke entered the game was immediately noticeable. If Rivera again inexplicably hitches our fortunes to Haskins, I will not watch.

I don't believe you'll ever have to worry about that.

Was hoping the light would come on for him but it never did.

Makes you wonder how in the hell did he ever beat out Burrow at OSU?

Coaching and a system. It's so much easier to scheme guys open in college. Meyer knew how to get guys open that Haskins could throw to. He put up record numbers in college. But he's not the first QB that has lit it up in college that failed to make it in the pros. He won't be the last either.

Why did Dwayne Haskins run onto the field to talk to Taylor Heinicke?

After Dwayne Haskins was benched in the 4th quarter against the Carolina Panthers, why did he run onto the field (with Chase Young) late in the game to talk to Taylor Heinicke before a fourth down play?

It was odd, no doubt. He looked like a guy who didn’t know what to do. Some players always know what to do in each situation. Haskins isn’t that kind of player.
 
I've never seen Young follow Dwayne onto the field to provide words of encouragement.



This guy was Haskins teammate, yet he's chasing our 4th starting QB on the field to pick him up. I may not have seen it, and it's likely happened on some level, but this man is FRIENDS with Haskins and he's encouraging his replacement.
 
word is that is why Haskins went out. Young went out to talk to him and he thought he should, too.
 
just an FYI, i've heard rumblings of past post being removed from Facebook that contain the word Redskins, and people even getting 'moderated' because of it.

Apparently there is some social sentiment changes coming into effect and it's rolling out... Redskins possibly being a 'trigger' word to the software.
 
Well the team has displays in the HOF for the Super Bowls so they can’t erase NFL history.

I suppose they can call them Washington Super Bowls’...........
 
So, on our playoff scenarios......because the Eagles couldn't finish off the Boys, are we only in if we win? I don't think the an unlikely tie between the Cowboys/Giants does anything if we lose, does it?
