I honestly don't even know why this is a story. I haven't seen the video, but only read reports of it. I don't want to give the person who posted this clicks or attention. But let's look at this in it's worst possible light. What if it's Gruden completely drunk, smoking pot, and cheating on his wife. Does that change anything about his performance as a head coach? Does it make him a worse coach or does it just make him a worse person? Even in the worst possible light, it just makes him a bad person and nothing more. Maybe you could argue that he's violating a recreational drug policy for coaches, but it's probably hard to prove it. So really, this video changes nothing about Gruden and what he's done and hasn't done as a coach. He's going to be fired for his poor performance on the field. It will have nothing to do with this video.
 
You should watch the videos. He's smoking 'something' - by no means clear that it's anything other than a cigarette. And he's talking to someone who appears to be a younger woman. That's it.

I guarantee you there's no one on this forum whose worst moments wouldn't make that pale in comparison.

But hey - let's disembowel the guy. Not bad enough for him that he's about to be fired for incompetence. Let's make sure we humiliate him on the way out.

People suck. And that's not exclusive to Snyder and Allen.

BTW, Borgonzi has a brother Dave that's a lb coach & been on decent defenses with Indy and Tampa. Better than anything we've seen in since GW, which isn't saying much but Tampa was #1 D his last season with the bucs in 2017. At this point in time I'll gladly look the other way regarding nepotism

All of the practices, scrimmages, preseason games had this staff convinced we had a contender on our hands?

This just isn't credible.

We seem to hear these glowing reports each year about how things are coming together, especially on defense, over the summer and then we get punched in the mouth in September and October and it all falls apart.

This team can handle 0% adversity.

Nope, as Ax pointed out it is Jay's hideous baby. The magnificent Jay and his group effort play-calling has done a bang up job btw.

28th in points scored
31st in rushing attempts
32nd (last) in attempts per game
30th in yards gained...199 in 4 games!
31st in ypg
A whopping 1 rushing td

I don't know if Callahan would do any better or not but continuing the turd's play call by committee is what garbage wipes it's ass on

I work a permanent schedule that causes me to miss every Sunday 1pm game we play. I must say, I've never been so glad to not be able to see the games. Clearly I've missed nothing.
 
This team makes me hate football sometimes

Skins fans deserve so much better than this. Change is no doubt coming. Whether it's real change or just more reshuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic, remains to be seen.

Color me beyond skeptical.
 
The loss meter says the team under Gruden is still in free fall:

Losses by 5, 10, 16, 21 and now 26 points.

And the opponent doesn't seem to matter.

The differential with the awful Giants was almost as bad as NE.

With Jay at the helm this is a max 3 win team and that's assuming any part of this team will show up to play against Miami, the NY Jets and the rematch with Giants.

Many of the other games on the schedule look unreachable as teams like Buffalo are a lot better than expected.
 
Time to develop Haskins. I always believed the first five games were for someone else. We're through that hurdle. Develop Haskins or at least find out if you'ld rather draft one of next years QBs. Gruden must go - right after they fire Manusky. We can work on shedding Allen later.

I'm looking at the guys running the Rams and the Packers, and I'm wondering how no one noticed that we were letting the two best coaches on the staff getaway. I can't help but think things would be better right now with McVay as HC and Le Fleur as OC (assuming we could have kept him here).

I see the talk about Bienemy but I'm wondering if we are overlooking O'Connell. The last couple of guys who were our QB coach are doing okay other places.
