LMAO when I saw him throw the ball into the net and the frame snapped back to smack him in the chin. Priceless.
 
Well, that was fun, huh? I'd say our D-Line & O-Line need some help. We struggle against the run & penalties seem to plague the OL like some weird curse. But, all in all, Cousins played well. He was definitely back in rhythm today & I LOVE Crowder. He had a good day. Aside from the end of the 1st Half, we didn't leave any points on the field & that fake punt that we got 3 points out of turned out to be the difference. Well done for the most part all the way around. Hail to the Redskins.
 
It had to come at the cost of injuries, but the Nsekhe-Williams-Long-Scherff-Moses combination is the best 5 offensive linemen we have getting on the field at the same time.

We suffered some on the pass rush from the left side when Williams kicked inside from Vernon, but Trent started eating up the Giants defensive tackles in the run game and that's when Jones started getting 4-5 yards a carry instead of 2-3.
 
I haven't seen a lot of Norman prior to this year and the start of the season. But I tell you, I'm liking the way he handles himself listening to his interview after the game today and seeing the clips the NFL Network did with him the last few weeks.
 
I left the sports bar in the 4th, when the score was 24-23, even though it was a super close. It just had all the intangibles and tangibles of the exact type of game that we would lose in heart-breaking fashion. And I just couldn't bear the thought of yet another painful dagger through the heart. Added to the fact, that I'd be forced to waste money on another drink or 2, to last through the end of the game. Just my luck, the Skins pull it off, and I miss out on it. Anyone can give me some oral highlights of the latter part of the 4th quarter ?

This definitely counts for Kirk.

Doctson was inactive. He agitated his achilles in warm-ups.
 
So for the 2nd week in a row, I decided not to watch football, instead spend time with my son...we went to a baseball game instead. I gotta tell you,. it has been a couple a good weeks.

I did watch the NFL 4 minute replay of the game...from what I can tell we could have beaten the Gianst by at least 2 TD's, instead we just score FG's instead of TD's.

Am I accurate?

It was not a perfect game. Four trips in the red zone, four FGs. In the first half the defense got man-handled just like the past two weeks.

But the Redskins did do some things better this week. They ran the ball. And they ran it better. Kirk hit some long balls. The WRs made some plays. No interceptions. The Giants only scored 6 points in the second half.

Oh, and we won the game. Against the Giants. In New York.

There is definitely stuff to work on, but I'll take it.
 
I don't think that's accurate at all Brian. It was a back and forth game all day. That describes the first half for sure. But the 2nd half it was the Redskins that kept coming back and making plays when they had to. The Giants were the undisciplined team today and the good guys just wanted it more. Cousins played a solid game and the one drive where we ran at them continually was nice to see. I don't think today fundamentally changes anything, but it was a must win, and we rose to the occasion in New York where we almost never do.
 
Not sure how they've been using him but Murphy already has 3 sacks. Seems the kid may have found his groove
 
It seemed like-especially in the second half-that we were more disciplined than the Giants. They were killing them with penalties-nasty players getting ejected kind of nasty penalties. We kept our heads while they were losing theirs and when Richburg went out is when one of the big impediments to our run game was removed and going to Jones started to click and that success combined with the Giants starting to come apart at the seams put us in a position to take the game.
 
That was one of the most entertaining games since Tampa. And that's regardless of which team won.

5 or 6 lead changes in the second half?

Exhilarating. Awesome. And a ton of heart.
