Hmmm...I see us signing expensive FAs (Norman), not addressing needs (o-line, d-line), gambling on picks with health issues or tweeners, and generally thinking that we're better in a lot of positions than we really are.

Here's the difference: We now have an actual GM...if that means anything.

I know I may seem a bit contrarian, but a wide-out isn't going to fix our running game. And, a guy we're wanting to add weight isn't going to fix our d-line.

I hope Galette is ready. I hope Lauvao is ready.

If they're not, I don't see an improvement in the run game. And, I don't see an improvement in run defense.

The important thing to remember is, what you, I, or anybody else not doing it for a living with the team sees, just doesn't really matter.

Doesn't mean you can't exercise your right to choose and see everything negatively.

Run Defense, I don't know, but am willing to take a "wait and see" approach.

Run Offense... you could have the Hogs, Riggo and anyone else you want and I don't think Gruden's scheme can get even a good running game. It never has historically, as in ever. The problem isn't the personnel.

Plus, name one team in the NFC East that doesn't have question marks.

At least we are not paying Sam Bradford $18M at qb like the Eagles or guaranteeing $125M to one class of defensive free agents like tha Giants.

Vernon looks legit to me but Harrison and Jenkins were way overpaid.

Norman is a consensus all-pro whereas the three players the Giants obtained have never made ONE pro bowl.

Jenkins isn't among the top 20 corners in the league.

How about Dallas? They got a running back and the return of Romo but on defense let Hardy go, have Lawrence suspended for the first 4 games, have to see great improvement from Randy Gregory, and have to patch a secondary where former top five pick Morris Claiborne was a bust and Brandon Carr never lived up to his free agent contract.

So, McCloughan is doing poorly given where the competition is at?

He has been here under 2 years.

Reese and Jones have been in charge for how many years and drafts?

Man, tough crowd. I disagree with Tr1's assessment, I think things are heading in the right direction, but I cannot fault him one iota for having concerns. When is the last time we have had two years of success strung together? For real, I'm asking, does anybody know? I hope to God McLuv's strategy of drafting football players pays off, especially in the long run, but this team has had a great season (or even an average season) and then followed it up with a shit sandwich so regularly it's scary.

The track record under Daniel Snyder is not good. I'm not saying it is all his fault, but the fact remains that under his leadership, we've sucked more often than not, and even when we haven't sucked, we follow that up with a sucky season.

Carson Wentz already getting booed in Philly wouldn't sign autographs. And he said at his introductory press conference where he has watched a lot of Bradford. Take that with Kirk who has watched both Brady and Rogers.

One stat that should go down and will help the running defense is last year we gave up 48 percent of all passes longer than 15 yards were completed. That number should go down considerably this year which will help every phase of our defense

Well, we already invested two first round picks in the OL, along with two third rounders and a fourth as well.

Outside of Williams who is proven we don't yet know the upside for Moses, Scherff, Long and Kouandjio.

We know Moses and Scherff look like and performed like solid NFL starters in 2015 as first year guys.

Kouandjio may end up being the answer at LG and Long may end up at center.

We just don't know yet.

This is a really good point about the OL.

Look at that list. All redskin draftees. All under 28. Two second-year guys and a rookie ...

Don't look now, but we've already been building this line through the draft. It's actually pretty impressive. Let's not forget, even The Hogs took a season or two to turn into the The Hogs.

Roberts will go first. Garçon still has value as a blocker I don't see him leaving this year. But if rashad Ross or Ryan grant steps up in training camp it could happen

Fuller is still rehabbing from the injury. His timetable according to Gruden is likely training camp.

So my top three right now is Norman, Breeland with Toler as the nickel.

We will see how far Fuller can go as a rookie.

McCloughan said on ESPN this morning that Garcon and Jackson are coming back for 2015 at their current salaries.

Beyond that he would give no guarantees.

Culliver has to be considered a big time whiff for McGloo, right?

Only in the sense that predicting injuries early-on is considered a whiff, the 'out' in the contract for the suspension thing was spot on.
Taking a flyer on injury prone vets is definitely a gamble, he seems to take them, some work some don't.

But every other move around here, made by anyone else, would be called a whiff. Regardless of circumstance.
