Random Commanders Thoughts

From Ryan Clark...

Former Redskin and current ESPN analyst Ryan Clark dismissed Cooley on ESPN's "First Take."
"Anything he says, I don’t pay attention to it," Clark said. "Right now he’s a dude that gets his rocks off by bashing people. There’s never substance to what he says."

Edit: Saw that was posted already

Glad to see former teammates of Cooley for calling out his BS. Oh and look, players coming to Griffin's defense.

Everyone has opinions, I don't particularly lend anymore weight to one over another (including my own) but the biggest real 'beef' I've heard that makes sense is that all this stuff needs to stay 'in house'.

Doesn't stop the twitter bird from being busy though.

Like anything, if it fits what we want to hear then we like it, if it doesn't we won't.

Still kinda' fun though, gives us all something to talk about off season and feeds that 'hunger'.

That has been my only beef... pretty much for my entire life. You do your laundry at home and don't wave it around for all to see. Cooley is taking this jilted lover thing way too far. I don't care whether RGIII is/was liked inside the locker room. That stuff stays there and Cooley is still technically an employee of the 'Skins.

This was the same guy who took a pic of his junk when looking at his playbook and posted it "accidentally," let's not forget.

some people think Cooley was a drunk and cared more about the attention he brought on to himself.

some people thought he was a lunch box kind of player that did what it took to help win.

I was of the latter...but now I am not so sure.

I loved Cooley the player, but the guy wasn't without his faults. He was probably one of the first players that used social media. Guy had a blog where would post stupid videos of he and Colt Brennan making fun of Romo and Witten. If Griffin and DJax did that, Cooley would have lost his shit. That's my beef. Cooley acts like he was this saint of a guy, when he was doing crazy shit all the time.

that, the drunken pics of him with fans, trying to cash his bonus check at a drive-thru, the extra short shorts, the wrestling other teammates. he was a very colorful guy who needs to remember that before he tries to bag on Griffin or anyone else.

Oh and don't forget when he re-signed with the team in 2012, he was trying to work getting beer into his contract. Again, loved the player, totally hate the media personality.

Still think he's bitter than Witten is still in the league and Cooley was too gimpy.

Ah, his legend lives on........ he always reminded me of a Riggo type guy (think I'll leave at that)

RG3 may have just caught a break:

Per @Rand_Getlin, the #Texans have an agreement in place with #Broncos free QB Brock Osweiler. #NFL

Then again, after Tebow, maybe not. Still has to be a reason for optimism.

Wait a minute, maybe I missed something, but why would Gary Kubiak of all coaches, take a chance on Griffin? He and Shanny are boys. You think Shanny would encourage that move?

I'm just pulling for the guy. I know it's a huge longshot.

Maybe Kap now goes to Denver, and RG3 to San Fran with Chip. It's one possibility.

Oh I agree, it would be a great landing spot for RG3. I just can't see Kubiak wanting him. Could be wrong, but I don't see it.

I'm guessing Brock Osweiler didn't take too kindly to being benched during Denver's SB run.

They literally have no QB now, and they have the 32nd pick. Wild.

When was the last time the SB Champion didn't have a QB the next season? That's insane.

It's total panic time in Denver.

Thank God we re-signed Colt McCoy. Chase Daniels was also signed by another team today.

That leaves Denver to choose between Kap, RG3, Matt Schaub?
