Random Commanders Thoughts

Skins fans should be very happy today.

Tampa looks great.

Kyle Shanahan's offense looks like it looked here for all but one season, and like it looked in Cleveland. Hot trash.

And Drew Brees is destroying the Giants.

Great weekend so far!

Giants are currently up 49-42 7:11 in 4th
Cobra Kai kicks the 50 yd game winner!
good for him

What an amazing day of football so far.

The Bucs are for real. That should make everyone who thought we beat a bad team feel much better.

Eli and Brees were both incredible, both first ballot hall of famers......and Kai wins it for us.

And now let's go Seattle!

Fwiw: the Redskins have not received any offers for Robert Griffin III. No surprise given the entire situation...

The trade deadline is in two days.

Per source, Jets already are making calls about potential quarterbacks who may be available to be signed or traded.

That damn extension really hurt us.

On another note, the NFL is wild.

The Jets QB just broke his hand in the first half.

They're already on the phone before halftime trying to find his replacement.

Cleveland has LT Joe Thomas and C Alex Mack on the trade block.

Wonder if we have any interest in Mack?

I'm sure we'll call. That's the GM's job--to at least make a call.

But I don't believe we'll go for him. Unless McLovin really believes that we can make a serious run this year.

And Dallas goes down:)

What a dream weekend.

I'll never forget listening to NFL Radio the morning after Romo and Dez went down.

Cowboys fans flooded the Morning Drive with Bob Poppa and Shannon Sharpe that morning proclaiming that they'd still keep rolling(they were 2-0 at the time) because they had the greatest Oline in the league and would just run all over whoever they faced and the D was on the cusp of greatness with Hardy coming off suspension to put them over the top.

Some of them predicted they wouldn't lose a game, while others said only a loss or two.

Try five losses...and a big O'for on the board!

Planet Delusional resides in Big D.

And they play the Eagles next week.

Chalk up another loss for at least one of them.

I honestly believe we have a shot at playing a decent game. It will take some lucky breaks but it could happen. I like the point spread as well. It should help keep the team humble and focused.
New England opens as a 13 1/2 point favorite.

We did beat a bad team. If you want to play that game, the Jets crushed us and just got beaten by the Raiders yesterday.

Who said the Raiders were a bad team? That's crazy. They're 4-3. They'll be in the playoffs.

Tampa beat both the Saints and the Falcons on the road. That's hard to do.

That makes Tampa an average team at worst, above average is probably more accurate. Far from bad.

Check out this week's forum image in BGO Black.

Pretty dern sweet, if I do say so myself. :)

not what Goal was saying.

He was stating Tampa was a bad team when we played them and that the Jets manhandled us while losing to the Raiduhs.

Context:

- they beat the Saints when they were at the front end of a 4 game losing streak.

- ATL has been horrible the last three weeks...barely beating a bad Titans team 10-7 while losing 2 of 3 games

Yep. Any given Sunday. Good teams do not give up leads like Tampa did. It was a fun win, for sure, but to say Tampa is a good team is an exaggeration. In my opinion.
