I tend to agree. But if that agent turns out to be wrong, teams won't trust him in the future. He's doing his job of course, but he's also taking a risk himself.
 
Definitely a strange story.
On one hand, it looks like his account was simply hacked, since social media seems like a very odd method for a lady to "report abuse".
On the other hand, if the pictures are indeed his current girlfriend, then Crowder may have a lot of splainin to do.
The next step, is probably to see if they can get the girl to make a statement.
 
Most obvious explanation would be, he did it, and a furious girlfriend logged in and posted them. Simplest explanation is usually true. What possible motive would anyone else have to hack his account?

It doesn't look good, that's for sure. However, people do crazy things for money.

Remember when RG3 was extorted his rookie season?

I believe he's likely in big trouble. But one possible scenario, as crazy as this is going to sound, is that it's possible this woman is someone he dated a year ago. She got roughed up by someone else after they broke up, and she's trying to cash in right after he got paid by the NFL.

Do I believe that is likely? No. Have desperate people tried that kind of crap before? Yes.

Geez, it's probably best to let the investigation play out before convicting the guy.

If Scot cuts him, I trust his judgment. If he lets things play out, I trust his judgment, all things being equal.

I have no doubt we will handle thongs better than the Ratbirds did.
 
Innocent or guilty it's shitty to have this press coverage.

If the girl is lying for any reason I hope she's went after for defamation or whatever.

If Crowder is responsible then I hope he's not only cut but fully prosecuted, & then some.
 
I don't want a team of thugs, but at the same time if we are looking for 53 players that have the bio of a Catholic nun I don't see this team winning anytime soon. As Doc Walker said, you need some junk yard dogs on your team.

Let's at least find out WHAT he DID do if anything before we talk about what should happen.

I'd rather not fill the 'Junkyard Dog' quota with a guy who beats up his girlfriend. Winning isn't worth that. Not to me.

Yeah, I'm confident if he beat or choked a woman, that's pretty far from being a catholic nun. I don't really understand what you are arguing here? If he did what is alleged, they should ban him from NFL play permanently. The NFL's approach to this issue is still mindlessly weak.

There's zero room in the sport for domestic abusers. Period. I agree, we don't know all the facts. But it looks pretty bad from what we have seen.
