Random Commanders Thoughts

If that alleged video comes out on Dez Bryant, Jones is going to need Peterson to sell tickets.

And to think, they probably take some type of Economics class in college.
Apparently, cheating in college is more prevalent than we thought

They may have signed up for the class, but actually take the class? Hmmmm.....

If only they were ineligible as freshman, then all that would change.

I think the Chapel Hill scandal shows that the idea of the 'scholar athlete' has been largely a myth at big time programs.

Players should be paid as employees of the university and if they want to go to college the schools can provide tuition remission just as they do for other campus employees.

Jacoby Jones was just cut by the Ravens...no idea why but he would be a good man to bring in since he need a return guy.

Ted Ginn Jr. was released as well this week.

Either of these guys is better on returns than what we have had.

Jones may have more suitors because of age and ability to make a play at WR occasionally, but either would work on a short term deal.

Wish the draft would hurry up and get here. Only thing going on now is Dez's rumored woman punching "video".

The joke? Dallas will trade for or sign Adrian Peterson at 30, franchise Bryant and watch him get suspended and let Demarco Murray go somewhere like Baltimore, NE, or the Giants where he continues to put up numbers.

Skins signed François to a 3 year, 9 mil deal

4 mil guaranteed

I just saw that and it's interesting.

He was a late round draft pick by McLovin, he was overpaid big time by Indy where he was only a situational player, and it may signal the end of the road for Jenkins.

4 mil guaranteed is good though.

I'm thinking lupita signs...He's as good as gone from SF and he's another mclovin dude

I like that he was a late round success by McLovin.

I'm not crazy that he was cut only two years into a four year contract by Indy due to lack of performance. I'm also not thrilled that he's 28. At least it's only a three year contract.

*@TarikCSNFollowJean-Francois had career highs in tackles (28), sacks (3) and passes defended (6) last year in Indianapolis.

A career high in sacks last year with 3?

I know very little about the player, but that sounds like a backup.

Gotta wonder if freeney and Mathis were getting all the numbers and he was taking up blockers.

4 mil for 3 years isn't a bad number even if he is splitting time.

Even if he's a backup... he's a viable vet with experience.. better then the backups we currently have. We need backups as well as starters in a lot of positions. $1+ mil a year for a backup seems like a good deal to me.
