Andre Roberts is done as the punt returner and we need to face that now. After that big hit he has never been the same. He did nothing but get out of the way and call for fair catches last night. He's shook.

I've given Haz the benefit of seeing what he could do without Shanny around but I can no longer turn a blind eye to the piss poor planning from last night. I'll say it now, at the bye, give him his walking papers and bring in Wade. Wade has no business being a HC, but the guy knows defense.

Fwiw, I find this interesting. Seattle plays at Dallas next Sunday coming off a short week.

Seattle is favored by 8 points. They were 7 to 7 1/2 point favorites against us.

Disagree completely. Most of those kicks looked to be pretty deep into the endzone, and we don't get to see what he does standing there.

Roberts is the least of our worries...

My mistake, but again, you're not at field level seeing what he is. Not like they were punting from deep in their own territory. So, who ya gonna deactivate to have Moss do returns ?

Ok, but he attempted to return zero punts. Zero.

I'm not going to put out names of who gets deactivated or if moss is even the guy to step in. I just think Roberts got shook from that big hit and it's ruined him as a returner.

His needs to be carrying a football around everywhere he goes, holding it with two hands. There are sometimes where you get drilled and it is just going to happen, but I think he is getting careless.

Ravens are working out Champ Bailey. Part of me believes he could work out as a safety here. But maybe he's just too old.

Silver lining? No turnovers last night, although we did have a fumble we recovered. Of course, we didn't get any turnovers either.

Going back to the PR job Mike... I'm not saying Roberts is a great punt returner or anything but that punter did a great job and goddammit our punt coverage sucks. Their gunners are badass...ours? Where are they? If Seattle had gunners we had wristrocketers. Our special teams is a complete disaster...again. Tres Way booms the ball but nobody is ever there while our kick returner is constantly pinned inside our 20. I can find fault it almost anything but Andre Roberts isnt one of those things to me.

You guys don't have to see what I do; I get it. But I am telling you right now, he is shook. He had ZERO attempts to return on Monday night. They kicked it to him 6 times.

He's shook. Since that big hit he is scared to take another one and is shook.

And while I understand we have other glaring issues (I never said this was a huge one) where you start on the field does matter. Starting at our own 9 instead of 30 makes a huge difference mentally as well as play calling wise.
