Loving all the good news about RG3. I still believe.
 
So, with Meriweather returning, who's the roster cut..... It's easy to say Rambo, and after giveing up two big play scores, I wouldn't cry to see him done in DC.

Last week I defended Rambo for a rookie mistake by not turning his head, he locked onto the QB and messed up. Yesterday's blunder was far worse... He wasn't playing aggressively. He beat the ball to the receiver and watched Bennett take it. In all honesty, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if neither one of these guys suited up for us this week. Duke is here and is capable. Trenton Robinson had his name called a couple times, and we can use the roster spot elsewhere. It's getting more apparent that neither one of these guys is the long term solution, so stop the band aid and try to find the future at the position. If it's Duke/Robinson, let them get the reps.
 
I wouldn't be sad to see Rambo go. In fact, I would encourage it.

Well, since he took out a restraining order on me, it's time to move on to the next badass defensive lineman. ;)
 
With the return of Meriweather, the quick progression of Duke, bringing up Akeem Davis and the solid play from Robinson spells the end of Rambo after that TD pass from Lewis.
 
Will he? It sends a message in the locker room when ownership takes care of their own draft picks. Polumbus makes more than the Butler. Sickening.
 
He'll get paid - why wouldn't they want to pay him? The only reason he's getting what he gets now is because he wasn't a top draft pick. Guess that's the downside of being a hidden gem....
 
Polumbus being paid for doing anything for this team beyond sweeping up the used tape on the locker room floor is sickening. Boone is spot on.

And i dont think they're even eligible for extension til after the 3rd season? So they cant do squat til after this season... or am I wrong?

Totally agree with this. This is also why I scratch my head when someone like John Keim ( who I asked about Polumbus on Twitter yesterday ) says that Polumbus isn't as bad as fans think he is.

Polumbus is always being shown getting blown up in pass pro when I watch the game. A JAG if we've ever seen one.

Heck, I've talked to Ross Tucker on NFL radio and even he says he needs to be replaced...and this is a guy,who as a former lineman, likes to give Oline guys the benefit of the doubt.

Mind boggling....
 
It's not fair to say Polumbus sucks. He opened up numerous holes for the run game yesterday. There's a pic of him doing so on the front page. He's just a liability in pass pro. It is what it is. In a lot of ways, he's the OL version of Reed Doughty. Limited in a pretty critical aspect of the game, and a favorite fan whipping boy.
 
Note to self: Don't try to run the stretch play against the Eagles.
 
If the Colts are having run success against this Eagles D, I can't wait to see The Butler get his shot at them.
