Random Commanders Thoughts

Lol, are you serious? Was it from that article, or from the past?

Those articles are usually hysterical. I love reading them when it's about other teams.

This one was especially ugly though. I mean they were just going off.

Yeah, but it was from earlier. It happens usually with me and sites like that. The whole Michael Sam thing that they beat in to the ground finally became enough for me when they ran the showering habits article. Apparently they weren't happy

That article stings a little.

I really only visit that site once a year when these articles come out. I missed the Michael Sam thing.

But some of them make me laugh so hard. From a Browns fan:

"I'm 0-13 all time when in attendance at Browns games and when I tell people they aren't even impressed with that stat."

Good God man ugly was being super kind. I had to take a shower after reading that. Author being from the DC area has obviously had too much.

Sadly, that didn't sting at all this year.

If I recall correctly, Gibbs had designed roll-outs for his qbs when facing good pass rushing defenses.

We have o-linemen who can move, and we have a qb who can get to a spot quickly...and, gawd knows we some excellent WRs.

With RG3's happy feet, I'd think there's a lot of possibilities for these kinds of calls...especially on long passing downs.

1st play on offense: Morris up the gut, gain 6
2nd play on offense: Morris up the gut, gain 4
3rd play on offense: Play action boot right
4th play on offense: Screen

Do everything we can to neutralize those two beasts.

Clowney is most likely going to have to line up against Williams and will not be able to just power by him. I don't think they will line Watt and Clowney up side by side. I ALWAYS will worry about Watt...but I am not worried about a rookie going up against our best.

yeah but if Griff breaks the pocket to that side.. Clowney has the speed to cause problems

That is true, too. If he can break off of Williams, that is. Also, if we dont have Young smashing him like CP used to do...

Call it homerism but I don't see Clowney being the problem on that Houston D. I see it being Watt. And I think Cushing is basically Urhlacher his last few years but Cushing is due to roids breaking him down.

Hold your horses a little bit here.

Clowney did absolutely jack in the SEC last year and is still a green behind the ears rookie.

Cushing is coming off injury and those guys usually take a while to get back in the swing of things..

Watt is Watt. He's good but he's not the end all be all. I mean, he was on the field for 14 straight losses last year...

And....our guys get paid too. It's not like we're going to show up and roll over like Haynesworth.

As Rocky once said :

the acting...."You a stupid foo....you stupid foo!!"

Brad Edwards visited my son's practice today to talk a little with the kids. I saw him as practice was winding down and walked up and said "Brad Edwards, can I shake your hand?" Dude was very cool and stopped and talked to me for a few minutes. A little while later he gave the kids a talk about teamwork and staying in school and whatnot. I asked my son what he thought about it and he said, "That's Brad Edwards, the Super Bowl champion? He's bald."

All in all a good night. :)

I loved Brad Edwards. He and Danny Copeland were so fun to watch. Edwards just lighting up the Bills WRs in the Super Bowl is a memory I'll never forget.

This wasn't even his best hit of the game. (Edited to embed the video. I posted originally from my phone and was too stupid to figure it out)

As an absolute Dallas hater, I still kinda find this stuff funny to a degree but it's kinda low hanging fruit.

I've seen more Dallas gay themed memes in the past 36 hours than in the past year .

I've decided not to perpetuate them, because Jerry Jones just made calling the Cowboys ******s an ACTUAL hate crime. I hate him for that. ;)

Pretty cool, Henry. Brad Edwards chose the biggest game of his career to turn into Ronnie Lott. His hit on Andre Reed (which was a tad early) toward the end of the half resulted in Reed incurring a 15-yard unsportsmanlike by yanking off his helmet to whine and bitch to the refs. Cost the Bills at least a FG try. And caused old man Marv Levy to accuse the ref of being "bought" as they ran off the field to lick their wounds.

Good times. :)

He was going for the ball. :)
