Random Commanders Thoughts

Meh..I'm glad that happened. Made it somewhat exciting. If we had lost on that play it wouldn't have made me lose any sleep

I liked what I saw from Grant and Breeland. Not much to say about the rest of the team. Some good, some bad.

I like that they ran 4 times on the goal line. It will give them something to work on. If this was a regular season game, there is no way they run it 4 straight times there. But in exhibition, go ahead and do it.

Thank You.

Never got the opportunity to say goodbye to the Redskin faithful. And tonight was it.

Kerrigan? Rambo? Jackson? Andre Roberts?

I agree with you on the goal line attempts.

I find it funny that Rambos strip came because he hit too low and at the wrong angle. But the kid is showing some improvement. Enough for special teams

Oh, there were other guys who played well. I didn't mean to neglect anyone. But I know what most of those guys can do. I was just really impressed with those two rookies, so I mentioned them specifically.

The starting offense, in its brief appearance, looked dynamic. Griffin, Jackson, Garcon, Reed, Roberts, Morris ... with zero game-planning, looked every bit as dangerous as I've been picturing all offseason. They likely won't come out of the gate a clicking machine, because there are just too many new variables. But I doubt I'm the only one who was able to take a bit of a long view and see how down the stretch, barring catastrophic injuries, this is going to be an offense that you really don't want to face.

So far the sense I have is that while this team may not be a "steamroller" (yet?) offensively it may be one of those pesky type teams that will be difficult to put away because of the number and variety of scoring threats we have available-and our defense will be observably better than it was last season-not monumentally so, perhaps, but the improvement will be visible.

did 89 help himself with that big 3rd down play last night or is he as good as gone?

Gone. Unless we decide to keep an extra WR...

I HOPE he's still here. I know its probably a homer feeling but I'd like to see him stay.

50/50 he's gone. If he gets a ton of time this Saturday, that could be a bad omen and he could be trade fodder.

as much as I want to be as passionate about keeping him as I was in the beginning of the year Grant and Roberts have really shown some great things. Time has just caught up to Moss. It is a shame he never had anywhere near the talent around him that he does now. He would have been another DJax with this crew.

If he's not part of our plans, I think they would release him to give him time to catch on elsewhere. Maybe get 6th or 7th for him in a trade.

I'd prefer him to be here.

I think Moss is gone and will get another shot with a bunch of teams if he so desires. I wish him well regardless. He's a good guy...
I see Moss wearing Carolina Blue this season.
