Random Commanders Thoughts

I hear we are getting our asses handed to us...any conformation on that?

The reports I've seen are that Tom Brady looked like.....well, Tom Brady. He's pretty hard to stop, even without great WRs.

it's also muffs off the QB...so the future HoFer has all the advantages.

this is what I saw on my buddy's facebook page

So far during 11 on 11 drills, Griffin and Co. Look shaky. Starting skins D has struggled as well. Brady picking them apart.

Yes. That seems to be the general consensus.

Brady looks great, Rob still looks shaky.

RG3 hung back twice during Brady's 11/11 to watch. Brady went 12/15 with two drops and one long TD. He can wing that ball around field.

shit...shake that ****ing rust off, Bob!!

I'm not too concerned just yet. It's still early.

I also remember that RG3's accuracy wasn't so great in his rookie training camp either.

I'd expect Brady, a veteran, to look better at this time of year. Rob is also learning a little bit of a new playbook.

The only think I don't want to see is 'overthrew' or 'the pass was too high' over and over again. If I'm seeing that two weeks from now, I'll be concerned.

Interesting story about to come on CNBC in five minutes. New NFL technology in shoulder pads.

I'm not sure if this is related to the new concussion helmet sensors that have been developed. Those will light up when the force of a hit is so hard that the odds of a concussion are high.

Just left the stadium a little more than an hour ago and will have a more detailed report, but the difference in the offenses today was very simple…"

Brady had solid protection…

Robert did not!

Our OL looks terrible as a whole. Lavauo got shoved around a lot, Chester was adequate, and in pass pro Tyler Polumbus looks POOR!!! Trent Williams shined. That cat is GOOD! The surprise was Lichtensteiger…he handled Vince Wolfork more often than not.

samo. samo.

only first practice. we all sorta suspected the o-line would take time.

on the bright side: per El's observation...40% of the o-line looks good. better than last year's 20%!!!!

If you have xm Sirius the NFL radio gang is at camp today. McVay is on now. Love his energy.

Did Moses see any playing time and if so how'd he look?

So much for early optimism

I suppose Brady is intimidating our offense too then

We heard all Griffin's rookie year how he looked shaky in practice. Then the Saints game happened. It's a new offensive system, as far as the passing game is concerned. I'll believe anything said about our team once the games start, but observations of practice are just an appetizer for me.

No point in getting worked up about the steak dinner because your potato skins weren't the world ender your friends thought they were.

According to Pat Kirwan on Sirius today(at Skins camp) , his observation and opinion was that Long and Compton would replace Chester and Polumbus on the right side at some point this season.

He was also curious as to why Moses wasn't working at the RT spot.

Guess we'll just have to see how things shake out.
